Ooooooh, enjoyed this weeks episode.

However, it seems like we were in later seasons Walking Dead scenario - **** all happens in an episode until the last few minutes. We are back on track - for now.

Much better episode this week, I'll admit the woman with the bow and arrow got on my nerves a bit but her reactions to things were understandable.

I'm really looking forward to the next, many shows would have used the end of the current as a season finale and that would have wound me up no end.

Absolutely amazing episode. Not read any books so no idea what the last 10 mins was about but has me intrigued. I suspect the book readers are gonna tell us in this thread before S3 starts, but I wish we could do no book spoilers in the thread tbh. No offence to people who read scifi books etc, but they are in the tiny, tiny minority compared to the viewers of the TV/Movie versions of such things.

p.s. Am I imagining it or was there more F bombs in this epsiode than the whole series put together?!?!?

Well it looks like we had a flashback to pre-silo, the duck pez dispenser ended up up in the silo as a relic. There was a dirty bomb detonated in the US from Iran, so was there retalliation from the US leading to mass destruction and hence why humans are now in silos? Or is the world fine and they are living in a silo in the radioactive blast area and they are all an experiment testing that in the event of an extinction event humans can survive.

It could be what Luke/Bernard were told - you are all an experiment and a reset is about to happen - ie you're all about to be safe guarded and a new experiment is about to begin.

Absolutely no idea :)

Erm, has that happened AT ALL yet? Why would it start now?
Without going back and checking all the tagged spoilers, I think it did happen multiple times in this thread, albeit in spoiler tags. Even all the "xxx character was different in the book" etc and small things like that. But, to be fair, some posters also asked for comparisons between the book as well.

Anyway, it's not against the rules, and just a pet peeve of mine. I'm sure it happens in other threads as well!

Surely that's the point of spoiler tags?
I just went back and checked the last couple of pages and realised you are the one posting mostly comparisons about the book and current season! We get it, you experienced the "better story". The author of the series is an EP of the show though, so I guess he is OK with the changes. In fact, maybe he thinks his book was not the best version of his story and he is making amends by creating his real vision in the TV show

Joking aside, I'm glad you enjoyed your books! I'm enjoying the TV adaptation, without any of the knowledge/baggage of the books!

Maybe you didn't look as you don't want to see, but neither of my two spoiler posts actually contain spoilers. People asked a question about the water and the cleanings and I clarified for them, that was all. One was a brief explanation of something explained better in the book and the other was actually confirmation of what's happened in the TV show.

I'm enjoying the TV adaptation, without any of the knowledge/baggage of the books!
And of course that's fine and great even. Again, I've not been posting how things are different, I just clarified some people were sad as they felt the book story was better and the times people have complained about the TV show, those bits have been what they added for TV.

Knowing what I know, I did get a little excited when the last 5-10 mins started  (I thought the second book, which S3 looks to be moving on to, was better than the first)

Thank god this season is over. I'll try reading the books instead as I can't stand the slow pace anymore.

Yeah on reflection I can see why the pace was as it was though, especially how slow the other silo bits were progressing, due to trying to tie it all together at the end and keep information relevant across different areas from spoiling things that were coming up in other bits, but still as others have said it could have been half a season.
