Silverstone Fortress FT02B-W Owners, Your thought's please!!!

I have the Silver Arrow in mine. No complaints, really. No feelings about it at all. I'm not sure why they made the fans biege, doesn't really go with any colour scheme that get's used on other components.

Same problem with the noctua though. I havent seen any bad reviews on the Corsair H80 and I did consider it for a while.

Performance wise they're all about the same. Just pick one based on aesthetics i reckon.

Just finished watching the video, the cooler looks awsome but the temps put me right off. He had 10 degrees difference between the Be Quite and the Noctua at 4Ghz.

Yeh that's one of my problems with the 2 air coolers, I really don't like the colour scheme of the fans. I would just find it annoying that if I bought the cooler and then had to replace the fans it would seem a waste.

Would be nice if someone could post there thoughts on a H80/antec in there case as Id like to see what the noise is like.

Can i ask what type of power cable extensions you guys used. It a bit of a stretch with my current cables so going to get some extensions to make things easier and neater? Particularly looking for extensions to 24pin, 8 pin and the 2x 6 pins for the gfx card? The blue ones are quite pretty :)

I added 2 x Cold cathode lights onto the side screen. It doesnt look too bad, I picked blue which lgihts up the interior well.

Kyo im interested in what temps you get with the H50-1 with your i7 930 overclocked to 4Ghz

I have the same mobo , cooler and cpu as you , but i have a FT02-WRI case.

Is it possible for you to send me the settings of your bios and also what bios version you are using.

Got my build up and running now and a big thanks to the people that helped out with the imformation i needed :)
The MSI GTX 580 Lightning Xtreme Edition fits in no probs and is running a very cool 28c idle on stock settings.
 
Hi all FT02 owners. I'm looking to reduce my overall case temps but especially the GPU temp. would it be worth me getting an after market cooler for my reference design GTX570 or would i see much improvement from switching to the FT02?

Has anyone had an Antec P182 (or any decent air cooled case) and then moved to the FT02 and seen a big difference in GPU temps?
 
What temps do you get currently?

I have a MSI twin frozr 3 570, and it doesnt go over 65 degrees in the FT02, but that may be due to the Twin frozr cooler that is epic. I cant compare to any other cases Im afraid.
 
about 75°C I would say but i need to recheck.
yeah the Twin Frozr cooling is epic! shame i bought a reference design. may have to purchase the Zalman VF-3000F.
 
I would check the direction of the copper tubes, there is something online that says what direction dont work in this sort of case, due to the rotated mobo design.
