yea you can the silverstone raven 3 overall although I love the ft02 I think the raven 3 is better it has no space issues with cpu coolers or gpu's and optical drives.For example my archon would not fit would simply not fit being too wide with the psu there nevermind the depth and would pick up heat from the psu and the optical drives space issues are self explanatory they need to make an ft04 the raven 3 internal design with the ft02 exterior.

Received this yesterday and plonked my system in there, which took longer than expected due to cable management. Love the feel of this case, it just oozes quality.

Here are my components:
cpu: i5 2500K
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
mobo: ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3
ram: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Artic white
gfx: EVGA GTX 570 - reference style

Only got my cpu at stock as i've just got the parts but i'm suprised at how much it has dropped my idle temps compared to when it was all in my Antec P182.

idle in P182 = 25-27°C
idle in FT02 = 22-24°C

can't wait to overclock this thing as i'm sure the case will help with temps!
 
Ive ordered a complete & new pc in bits, where as, this case is amongst the ordered items.

so to my question, does this case fit the Asus Maximus extreme IV-Z ? my own searching on google, implies that it does. But double checking never hurt nobody, did it?
 
Looking at my own case I would say you shouldn't have any problem fitting the mobo. EATX is just another inch or so longer at the "bottom" near were the SATA ports are, on that note you may have some trouble fitting your sata connections but that will just take some fiddling around, I hope you have small fingers. :)

8gb corsair vengeance ram in black
8gb corsair vengeance ram in red


Trying to see if Black with red sheme & white lighting will work out.
 
I cant wait neither.. getting the case thursday according to the dealer, so ill have some pics up early saturday? Never actually build a pc from scratch, always had someone do it for me. may have had something to do with being a kid & handling expensive gear ^^
 
You will enjoy it. Nothing like the feeling that what your using on a daily basis you have made. satisfying.

And what A nice set of specs to get you started lol.
