Silverstone Fortress FT02B-W Owners, Your thought's please!!!

Good to hear I'm wrong ;) I think I'll go for it, how can I make sure I get the latest version with the penetrator fans? Do they all come with it now or do I need the "USB 3.0 Version" or something?

Also, my GTX 480 SLI should be ok in this case? :)

Yup comes with penetrator fans dont think it has usb 3 but you can buy a kit as for the cooling it should work well with your cards i now they run hot but you will have 2 180mm fans blowing from below helping the fans on the videocard to cool them.

Ok thanks mate, gonna order one! :D

EDIT:

Got my FT02B-W yesterday. I think it has the Penetrator fans, not sure though.
Set it up, was busy all evening, you tend to forget how much time it takes to get everything out of your old case, dust if off and put it back into your new case + cable management.

Anyway. CPU runs a LOT cooler and my SLI GTX 480, one hovers around 85 and the other one around 89/90 degrees when I played 10 minutes of BF3 @ 2560x1440 / high settings. When I hold my hand above the case it's like a hot air oven (above the SLI).

I'm well impressed with the looks and the cooling.

So im really intrestead in this case, going to get me one as soon as I can.

Problem being I need more 3.5 bays, is there a 5.25 to 3.5 converter I can get from somewhere? I notice they are listed on the Silverstone website but I can't seem to find them here at least.. I could never use more than 2 or 3 5.25 bays at most. No idea why cases always come with 5 or more.

Wellcome to the club :)

Anyone else having trouble with the 180mm fans breaking.

The 1st time I switched it on one of the fans snapped which I had to send back for replacement. Then about a month later one of the fans developed a tick so had to replace that too. Now another one has started it too so that needs replacing.

Silverstone will swap them but postage to Germany is about £9 every time and this will be my 3rd time having to send one back.

Am I just unlucky?

Any where it will fit to be honest, I'd not really given it to much thought

The only place I think it can fit is in the bottom of the case ontop of the Intake fans, but then your blowing heat into the case. where as if you bought a single fan radiator it could fit in the top of the case:

I'll put that question to the "Overclocking & Cooling" forum, as I really don't want to make any mistakes!

I doubt the H100 would fit at all, i'd love one in mine too but :(

I've had the H70 & now going to use the Antec 920, and these cool those CPUs very well, especially with the excellent cooling of the case.

Also, just got the XFX 850W XXX PSU and this fits a treat with the cable amounts & lengths (besides, its a Seasonic) :)
