Will someone please tell me what Vettel was thinking?!?!?
That was very Schumacher-esque in that sweep across the track! I thought they clamped down on that because it was getting dangerous. You just CANNOT do that in such, or any, conditions.
Ah well, that's the Championship all but decided....

It's basically the same thing Schumacher got penalised for when he cut across someone close to the wall, you take their space away and it's basically forcing them into a game of chicken where they can either brake and cede their advantage or collide in which case you can play the victim.

The accident was caused by Vettel Lunging across the track without realising Kimi was there. That is all there is to it.

If you watch the replay, you will see that if you take Max out of the equation (hypothetically of course as Vettel wouldn't have made that move if Max wasn't there), Vettel and Kimi would have collided anyway.

Pray tell WHEN he got penalised for? Don't recall anything he got except in '97 when we found out Adelaide '94 wasn't a fluke.

So IF Vettel HAD NOT decided to "lunge" across the track and actually stayed true like the other 2 protagonists then we could be looking at a Ferrari 1-2 as Kimi easily had the jump on the inside

I think it was when he was in the Merc and tried to put Massa into the wall.
Ah yes Hungary. Ta

Making a fantastic start, avoiding the trouble, and then being miles faster (especially in the wet), than anyone else, most notably his teammate who had the same car.

Yup. Vettel may have taken himself and two others out of the race and thus opened up the opportunity for Lewis; but Lewis still gave a great drive to take advantage of the situation.

He had a fantastic start because everyone in front of him went full retard and everyone just played it safe after that and Bottas just went missing in the also rans.

He had no pressure or anything throughout the race, think the only time we saw him was in the pits and at the restarts.

God knows what Ricciardo was doing as he just seemingly went into parade mode and didn't push.

This is a sabotage. Can't be real and the only reasonable explanation that comes to my mind is that Ferrari are found in some type of breaking the rules or something similar and are now instructed not to race.
If I remember correctly, I saw Vettel's first face apperance at Spa and he was in extremely bad mood.

Something has happened and changed the order.
Cheers to Ham for winning the championship.

1/10 rating from me for this race.

So many tears! Haha. Hamiltons to lose now, plenty of fresh parts and plenty of power circuits coming up. An entertaining race.

Well done for what exactly? He had it handed to him lol

He kept out of trouble and had decent pace as usual in tricky conditions.

Ferrari really have cracked. Monza and now this.

No! Ferrari are spectators now and they don't participate in the Championship. Mercedes without any changes will win it.
Nothing to be happy about or to celebrate. Don't you see that it is all arranged behind the scene?!

Stay off the drugs

I feel for alonso, brilliant start.

Can we get rid of Damon, he really is useless.

This one:

It's basically the same situation, the car behind is faster or has a better track position so the driver in front use their car as a weapon in an attempt to force the driver behind to brake or lift off. The driver behind has no real choice but to slow if they want to avoid a collision.

edit: the only real difference is that Schumacher did actually give Barrichello enough room to avoid a collision albeit only millimetres but he still got a penalty for dangerous driving.
