Personally I dont see there being any chance for a Ronaldo return now (it was slim to none before Fergie's announcement) as for Rooney given the way he acted last time it wouldn't surprise me if he did indeed chose now to push for a transfer

Him and Moyes have history too. Although I think its mostly sorted now, Moyes sued Rooney about things he said in his book and won.

that's a recipe for disaster. if you're going to bring a manager in, you take a certain leap of faith. if you're not willing to do this, you're making the wrong decision.
