I reckon we'll see a lot and I mean a lot of Welbeck up front next season, in fact it was only the other week (possibly the derby) that I thought to myself about how well Welbeck would probably do for Moyes' Everton side...

Victor Anichebe+ :p

I'm not sure why so many Utd supporters are so keen on Fellaini too. He's a decent player but I'm not sure he's good enough to play in midfield for Utd. He can be effective playing high up the pitch, playing long/direct football but surely Moyes won't be allowed to play like that with Utd.

... ****.

I would put money on me going to watch them more than many of the Manchester United posters on here still :p.

You seem to have taken to having a pop as often as you can.

Stark contrast to how you used be, just wondered why the sudden change, you seem to have mentioned how Ferguson isn't the best manager ever a couple of times.

I love Paddy, I met him at OT not long back and he is surprisingly small!

Really nice bloke though and has such a passion for MU.

I agree, don't think he's a technically good enough footballer. He's probably better than what we've got because we play ****ing Jones at CM at the moment but if we spent 20m or whatever on him I'll be rather disappointed considering what we could buy instead.

I wouldn't want Fellani to be honest, he's too hot and cold.

Baines I would take in a heart beat.

Mourinho:
"When Sir Alex called me to give me the honour of knowing from him his decision, I was surprised and sad,"

"At the same time, I was happy to feel his emotion, and pride for such an amazing career.

"It will be difficult for me, and I think all managers, to go to Old Trafford and play against Manchester United, without this mythical figure waiting for us.

"I think David is a great choice. I like him as a person, I like his character as a manager. I believe Manchester United will support him, I think he has the qualities to do a good job.

"I wish Sir Alex a happy life, and I wish David a successful career at Old Trafford."

"We are good friends, and my good friends know which club I would like to manage when I finish my work at Real Madrid,"

He was also asked if he would tune in when Ferguson takes charge of his last match at Old Trafford on Sunday, and said: "No, certainly not - no, I don't want to cry!"

Seems it was never on from our side nor Joses, as suspected.

You'd have Fellaini deployed deep, play Evans in front of other CBs and RvP as an AMC?

:/

I think Evans would be a brilliant no2 CB, with a constant partner leading the defence - unfortunately neither Rio or Vidic's health would allow this however.

Utd leaked so many goals this season mainly because of the constant swapping in and out in front of De Gea (admittedly he made a few mistakes himself, but he has really impressed me in the last month or two coming for crosses especially)

Wouldn't touch Fellani with a bargepole however (for the transfer cost he would likely be), and it would be a waste RvP playing that deep as you suggest . Kagawa as the No 10 with RvP ahead of him would be perfect.

Baines would be a fantastic addition....if he was a couple of years younger. £15-20m for a player Utd would likely have for ~3 years if they are lucky, that appears too steep for me. His dead ball skills as well as his general play is great however.

If United take Felliani I will laugh almost as hard as when city paid so much for Lescott. My god will he be found out at that level. He normally plays 7 good games a year at Everton, this year he's played 8 and one of them was against United and all of a sudden the papers love him.

Take him, take Baines as well if the money is right. Baines is a top player but age isn't on his side and for a long while couldn't get into the side. We will replace the pair of them for £6 and get them to do the job ;)

I don't think Fellani would like the scrapes we get into, teams seem to want to kick the **** out of us the last couple of years and he would get into too many elbowy arguments.
