Access speed=the speed the router is trained in at.
So it isn't an actual minimum throughput as expected![]()
I am acutely aware of how rubbish the sky hub is and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the BT Home Hub 5 will work with the openreach modem assuming I can extract my username and password?
I'm considering going back to Sky after getting out of my VM contract 6 months early due to them increasing the price.
I gave Sky 30 days notice on the 9/12/2013.
Would I be correct in assuming that to sign up as a new customer I can't do that until after 9/1/2015?
Since I would be including TV and Phone as well as Broadband, it has to be as a new customer, as I no longer have any of my Sky equipment.

I would call up and see what they can can do. Any partner/wife that could sign up?
Just extract the user/pass from the Sky router and buy an Asus, pop MerlinFW on it job done - take you around 10 mins to do.
