Sky Friends and Family deal thread! Now with, er NOW deals!

@MissChief any advice. I signed up about 4 years ago thanks to a link or code from you. All had been good but all offers have come to and end and they wanted £84 a month.
I checked online and they have sky stream, the same packages I have included and it was coming to £50pm.

I called expecting it to be relatively easy to get onto a similar deal but no such look. I would have thought they would want to give existing customer the same deal or at least very close to it.

So I told them to cancel. Is there a chance they will call and offer me any better deals?
Absolutely yes.

If you have a partner you can always cancel and have them sign up as a new customer.

Just call their win back team and say you missed a call from them. Play the game and call back if necessary. Takes about 5 calls then you get to know what the baseline is, anything offered below that snap their handoff.

I got sports UHD with standard tv dea and Netflix for £39 a month. That was about 6 months ago.

So I keep going on and off signing up and fair play to misschief, they have helped me out with codes previously. So long story short, I want to be able to record TV, get home and watch it, without waiting for the channel to upload it to their own page it whatever. What's the best package for this now Sky Q has gone?

Sky Q hasn’t gone anywhere yet. It’s still available to order.

My dad pays £124 every month for Sky. Can I get some advice on how to get that down please? I think I know what I should do, but just want some advice.

He definitely needs to call and cancel. And actually put his notice in to cancel. It's 31 days so he will likely get a call within that time.

He's actually out of contract (and has been for quite a while) so i suspect that's why it is so high. (they are extracting the urine essentially) He has Sky Q,but beyond that i'm not sure. If i come back at you with exactly what he has,can you help me?

I haven't worked on Domestic Sky for five years now so, no, not really. Really he needs to call in.

Yeah that's a long time to be fair. Any pointers regarding negotiation would be helpful though. Although i'm pretty sure i know what i'm gonna do/say. Might end up just cancelling the whole lot tbh. Trouble is,whenever you phone them you end up on bloody planet India. And you can hardly understand a ******* word of what they're saying. Not only that, they can't ******* understand you either! **** me.

One more question,if i may. So all my dad wants is the basic TV package. You know, like the entertainment package. But he also wants Broadband and phone. (home line) So what should i be aiming for regarding price?

Sky website seems to be erroring when going through the checkout process - does anyone know if there is a discount for taking out a mobile contract at the same time as Stream + Fibre Broadband?
Their website and whole IT infrastructure is pretty woeful. I don't trust them at all. Discounts are pretty random - depends on who you speak to on what day.
I don't rate Sky at all at the moment - their service has gone seriously downhill in the past few years.

£38 right now, free setup, if you head to a shop or a mid mall store they can take off the fibre setup fee and router deoivery charge. ANytime calls are £16, eve/weekend £8.

Thank you for the reply. I'll try it out and let you know how I get on.

As fyi,we already have SkyQ, plus broadband and phone,we just want to get the bill down. I won't disclose it here but it's really high.

-Edit- Just realised i already disclosed the price lol. Drink does that.
