Yes.
With the 1tb box you can connect up to 4 mini boxes but only watch on 1 of them.
The 2tb box lets you watch on 2 minis.
Well that's a poor design flaw/restriction
Thanks for confirming

Yes.Am I right in saying that all your recorded/downloaded programs are all on the one main box?
It will be a result of market research - I'd have though the majority of multiscreen customers only have 1 extra box so they went with that. They'll push the 2tb silver box if you want more than 1.Well that's a poor design flaw/restriction

There is an enormous thread on the Sky Q forums about those intermittent drop outs. It is thought to be caused by HDMI control signals, so using an optical cable for sound and/or disabling HDMI control/CEC on all devices might fix it. If not, setting the sound output to Normal will do the job, although you'll lose Dolby Digital.
Can someone confirm that with an upgrade to 2tb I will get all HD channels bar the movies? Lady on the phone said yes but I'm not convinced...
Thanks
Is there any more information about the Sky/Devialet TV speaker/soundbar available at all? Anyone know anything?
Cheeky cow lied to me in that case, I specifically said if I upgrade to a 2tb box would that mean I automatically get all HD channels bar movies and she said "yes" .... Will be calling tomorrow about that ...You only get all the HD channels with the BoxSets bundle. I have just rejoined sky and they made that very clear. Has nothing to do with the 1tb or 2tb box.
Looking at that new Sky VIP thing, and found out we are on the Black tier(highest one), which gives a free Sky Q install.
Not interested in the multiroom, but the recording several things at once facility does look good(we often have to cancel recordings due to clashes).
Would there be any way of getting the basic Q package without having to pay the £12 a month extra? (Currently on HD with all the Sports channels)
thanks

That's about all we've been told too. Devialet have a big reputation so I'm hoping it'll be good.I've seen on Sky's website its Dolby Atmos enabled and will cost £249 to Sky Q Multiroom users and £299 to existing customers on other packages. £799 to non-sky customers.
Perhaps MissChief can advise of some more technical info?

Noticed on the sky site they they currently have a small discount on the box sets bundle making it £31 a month , never been a sky customer and I'm pretty tempted at this price.
If I were to ring up sky would they be likely to offer any other deals/ up sell at all or are offers more a retention type thing ?
Also are there any offer codes or quid or offers anyone knows of at the min ?
Cheers all
so sounds similar to Bose,Beats....This is where the list of strategic investors will come into play. The plan is to embed Devialet’s audio tech in TVs made by Sharp, cars made by Renault, and perhaps do more activities with software-based music services (think Jay Z’s Tidal, which already has a streaming deal with Phantom, or Naver’s Line Music), smartphones, and the many more devices that complement and compete with these. If they pull it off, it will democratise Devialet’s technology beyond its own high-end, expensive speakers, and make hearing it much more ubiquitous
Half price so your 60% is better. What's your current new customer deals misschief? I have the option of 60% if I come back. Looking at my options
