*** Sky TV Cancellation & Negotiation Thread ***

It's £87 for the entire package with the max broadband, UHD, sports movies, netflix etc. Just doesn't come with multi room if want that will be a bit more. Just did it myself but can only get max 150mbps broadband here, so total cost was £77. Beats what they wanted for a renewal at £138 :s
Cheers. I haven’t had chance to do it yet but I’ll be doing it for TV only.

I see sky are offering 900 down and 90 up as part of their ultrafast BB, I’ll have to see how much both packages will cost and see if it’s worth moving to sky for my BB.

Edit: Sky website says I can only get 50 down and 18 up in my area when VM give me a gigabit connection, forget sky BB then.

That seems expensive. I got the same minus movies but including UHD for £53 a month just the other week. Movies would have been a tenner or so more. Having more multiroom boxes doesn't change your multiroom cost, just a fixed cost when you first obtain the extra box.

Its black Friday soon so i shall see what deals they doing then. if the deals not to my liking i shall play the cancellation game i think. As I am due to be out of contract around the same time.

Well I posted above, they'd offered me these prices.

Multiroom - £11

Been a customer 8 years. I had other stuff too, but gives you an idea of what is achievable.
Multiroom is not £11 on Sky HD. This is my breakdown

They are mugging you off on multiscreen there.

With SkyQ I swear each box is just a 1 off £50 cost with multiscreen sub just 1 monthly payment (not 3 like yours).

Cinema would be another £11 on top monthly rolling if I wanted (for equivalence to your package). UHD was free with multiscreen.

So half of your bill is being sucked up by Multiroom? Surely you'd move to SkyQ and pay the one monthly fee instead!?
I would but we run 4 boxes at the same time. Living room, conservatory, brothers room, my room. 3 boxes are the max on Sky Q. If they up it to 4 simultaneously, then I’d switch.

Only 3 simultaneously but can have 4 boxes technically. Could always top that up with an Xbox or PS5 and now Sky got an Apple TV app too.

Might not be any limits to this new sky stream thing potentially if it's all over internet?
