Got it today. Brings WiFi to those capable. Also can move through notifications with a flick of the wrist.

Actually has a launcher now too, which might be the best addition. Hold down the button to bring in a list of your apps to launch.

Just got 5.1.1 on my R too, the flick to move up and down seems handy. Nice to see an app launcer but to have everything on one column seems a bit wasted so I'll stick with Wear Mini Launcher. The swipe down for notification profile/cinema/etc looks nicer as well.

Now I need to wait for Q3 for LG to release the patch for wifi...

With the latest update on my GWR I'm loving the proper maps and Shazam from my wrist.

2 of the things I always thought were missing.

Also, deleted mini launcher to see if I can get by with the built in one.

My Moto360 has 5.0.2 installed.

How do I connect it to a WiFi network outside my home wifi zone if I leave my phone at home ! ?

You don't. The wifi chip won't be enabled till the 5.1.1 update

Got my moto 360 last weekend and loving it so far!

Any "must have" things to get? Quite happy with one of the default watch faces but if there are any better ones then ill take a look

Well Motorola on Twitter told me last week they couldn't confirm a date yet. However I noticed yesterday they have been responding to people telling them its starting to roll out and should be available in the next few weeks.

@Deniz19Deluxe Google says the release is rolling out gradually in the next weeks. If your watch is not receiving it yet please wait a bit

Well that's interesting...

I suspect that in the new firm ware update there must be a new option to search for Wi-Fi networks just like a mobile phone !

What other new features are bundled in to the new release ?

5.1.1 has begun rolling out for the Moto 360...apparently will take a few days to reach all devices.

Definitely good news and I hope they sorted out the performance issues they were experiencing.
