It took almost 2 weeks for me to receive that last update from the first day of the roll out. Guess you just got to wait.

Got mine last night and installed this morning on the train. 
It's either due to 5.1 or I'm just plain using it heavier but I've noticed the battery life on my R is lower than before. Probably the former as I've noticed I have far more watch apps I use now compared to before.

I'm not even bothered about the new features! I'm happy enough with the general performance improvements.

Yeah good update. When they held the upgrade for a while due to performance issues I kinda assumed they were just trying to get the same performance as previously, but very happy that they've actually improved the performance. It's very smooth now.
Cant comment on battery life yet, but recently my battery life hasnt been great. I used to get between 2.5 & 3% drain an hour, which was quite good. Around 60% left at the end of the day, but recently its been about 4.5%, even after a factory reset etc. It did seem to be around the same time they released the Android Wear companion app update for 5.1, so I had assumed it just wasnt running too well with mismatched software versions. Hopefully battery life is better!!
