It always happens in 4th at around 4500rpm. My theory is that its boosting too much and going into limp home mode. Eitherway Thorney aren't gonna figure that out and they'll just keep swapping sensors so refund time.

To be honest give up, get a refund and spend several grand on something more worthwhile. It's not as if 240bhp isnt enough in an Astra, is it?

Just.. dont bother getting it mapped. Seriously, its an Astra. A nice Astra but come on, more and more power through a 2 litre engine and the front wheels is a waste of time. 240bhp is enough.

Spend the money on an ICE install. Or 3000 miles of Euro roadtrip in it.

put the £500 towards a limited slip diff.

Makes such a drastic difference to the handling it cannot be stated. It tames all the astra VXRs wild habits.

think MPG are doing a group buy for £800 all in or something at the mo. See if you can get in on that.

Power is nothing without control.

Lots of ponies is great for straight line speed, and I would wager you are meeting the ends of your talent outside of straights before you are running out of power.

I know my car is plenty ahead of me in terms of capability at the moment.

LSD seems like a good shout.

i never unsderstand this attitude, if 500 is nothing why are driving an astra? the roller in for a service?
