If only performance then if it is only 20% then I doubt that will tickle your fancy. Doubt it will be much more than 20% better than 1080Ti, unless somehow it OC's much better or something.I have said it before but I would like to hold off. Meh, performance will probably decide what I will do.

Really not sure what you mean. It is like you quoted the wrong postHas to be three times now. Not to mention Intel will probably pressure the mid range and Nvidia have nothing to offer for the APU's.
and kaaps older than both of us, hes so old he smells of wee and biscuitsBeat you, 2 years 7 months I be 60.

Yep, needs to be a big jump before I part with my Ti. 35% + and I might well get it but less and I will wait and I will only be going Ti to Ti this time.If only performance then if it is only 20% then I doubt that will tickle your fancy. Same for those who have a 1080 I suppose. That is what I had so I am expecting a very nice increaseProbably only going to be worth it for us Vega owners, as the performance increase for us will be absolutely gargantuan!.

1180 should be enough performance for me for every game ever released on PC to date. The only game I can think about which will make me want more performance is Cyberpunk 2077 as I heard it will have graphics options ahead of its time, kind of like how Crysis did.
I am hoping we find out when Cyberpunk 2077 comes out at E3. Because to be honest it is probably the only game where I would want to spend more money to get something faster than a 1180 (assuming it is at least 20% faster than a 1080Ti). There have not been many must play games in 2018 for me. Hopefully 2019 will be different.
Ha! Youngsters, will be 61 in august, have to admit I don't game much these days as I have become disillusioned with the ridiculous overpricing of graphics cards and am adamant I will not pay silly money for an upgrade from my 980Ti. Bought on 15 July 2015 for £539.99 from Ocuk, easily the most expensive card I've ever purchased and I felt strongly then that I shouldn't buy it. Turned out to be my best and longest kept card ever, still going strong and really impossible to replace it with something decently better value. Unless things change, and I doubt they will, I am probably done with pc gaming after my 980Ti packs in as there is no way I will pay £550+ for better. The Xbox One X is looking to be my next buy for gaming when it drops under £400 and that I'm sorry to say is better value.Beat you, 2 years 7 months I be 60.

DX12 to DX11 hardware and no VVR support.... Think I'll stick with the V56 unless the 1180 is a lot more than a Pascal tweek and a node shrink.
It's only a matter of timeAHA! I think I beat the lot of you, I'm 64 in October. Still got a mental age of about 9 years old though, I like biscuits but don't smell of wee (yet).
I reckon the most exciting thing that can happen right now (shame it’s not going to) is if Nintendo released a Switch which can share resources with a dedicated Nvidia GPU.
It would be more exciting if Nintendo switched to AMD for the Switch, to complete AMD's monopoly on gaming consoles.
It's worth remembering that the vast majority of gamers use AMD hardware these days, since consoles are far more popular than PC gaming (which is dying) and AMD powers the most important consoles, the PS4 and Xbox![]()
