Solar panels and battery - any real world reccomendations?

Miserable here - with my home assistant sensors I can tell you:

- 23.39mm of rainfall today thus far in the garden
- 7.39C average temp
- Peak UV Index of 40.5 / Average 9.9
- meaning a total generation of 0.7KWh thus far!

There are some 3 story houses near mine that I think just block the light at this time of the year a bit, as the sun is so low in the sky.

Even optimisers won't really help that.

I'm on the Kent Sussex Surrey border but on the Kent side. So yes. Definitely wet like Kent? Or wet like a Kent?

It is just visible but comfortably out of the way. We get this every few years. Until they dredge the river some more.

The house hasn't been flooded at least not since the 60s but even then it wasn't significant and they've added protection since then.

You jest, but I have mulled creating mini turbines on my drainpipes - I get so frustrated as our next door neighbours have a stream running through their garden and they do nothing with it! I'd have a turbine running all year round!

Think it will be the same tomorrow, very wet for east Scotland tomorrow.

At least it's not mid Wales getting it
