Someone please help me decide :(

saying that^ i just looked at a youtube vid of the bitfenix and hell, it looks like a task... i dont think you can fit a larger gpu in it if you have a hdd...

That would be a good base for an intel setup (note the wifi inc) HOWEVER you would need to add a GPU. As I said a 2nd hand 1GB 460 would be good if you could find one (£50ish). The AMD A10 APU is gaming capable and you can add a GPU later for better performance.

This is perfect. You can upgrade to a I5-3570k in the future which is a killer of a CPU.

I'd get the i5 to begin with. Save you the £80 waste on the i3 for just an extra £90 (this week only)

i5K is normally £170-180 then you need to add a GPU. The 2GB 7850 (£150) is the only GPU I can really recommend for serious gaming if buying a GPU new.

For £500 with a 2nd hand GPU he could get the i3 setup. That's more than he wanted to pay but the intel 1155 socket is technically the better base to be building on

P.S Why am I the only mug doing specs? lol

so is the amd the better cpu, the video made I3 look like poop... also can you fit a decent sized gpu in the bitfenix?

and a side note when is this due out > http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-178-MS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat= << sounds to good to be true

If you will definately add a GPU then the intel setup is preferable. The prodigy can have one of the HDD cages removed to fit large GPUs.

That GPU you linked is pants lol Like I said the 460 or a 6850 is better than any GPU you can buy till you hit the 7850

Why not a second hand GPU with the i5?

I just don't see the point in paying for the i3 when he said he will "add more after if it works". Might as well start with a quality CPU.
