Someone please help me decide :(

The cables aren't too big a problem, been thinking about building with this case myself and seen videos. Depends on size of PSU

PSU is pants lol It's not even bronze rated for efficiency, it's not modular so you'll have cables gallore. Still needs a GPU for the games he wants to play

I really do beg to differ. Even when building in midi towers I find modular PSUs to be a godsend for cable management.

Am I allowed to link Youtube videos? I'm also fairly new to OCUK.

I do agree with non modular PSUs being a pain in the ass in most cases. I myself have one but luckily I took my time sorting out the cables. ;)

Right, thanks a lot you lot I'm pleased to announce I've placed my order lol.. such a horrible moment... if this goes boobs up im coming for you hono...

I've gone with what you suggested at first with the amd only change i made was the case ( i went with orange it looks nicer IMO and it was slightly cheaper.)

its just a waiting game now with it been christmas and all :D!

Did you get the wifi dongle? My spec in post #52 had everything you asked for, the RAM was slightly different being all black rather than blue but it's the same stuff basically.

Hono check the Youtube link and tell me the Bitfenix Prodigy isn't godly for cable management :p

I'm not watching those two berks lol

I'm well aware of the case. The only boo boo I have made in the past is spec'ing a H100 with an optical drive. You can't fit both internally apparently, although Im convinced the rad could be mounted externally if you take the ceiling panel off.

I helped a friend put a xbox 360, water cooled, in the millenium falcon toy. He wants a rig and I'm trying to convince him to house the PSU and watercooling in the prodigy and then we can stuff all the PC goodness inside the falcon. If it comes into being expect a build log ;)

Yea but he didn't buy that.

I checked the specs anyway, he will have 10cm to play with.

You have to be careful bud. As you can see the OP just went ahead and ordered my spec, didn't post what he intended to buy, just pulled the trigger. I've come across people on here who think that we work for OCuk lol

I will stay quiet until I know more about the cheaper parts.

I didn't mean to Shhhh you, everyone is allowed an opinion. You have done the right thing and pointed out you are still learning (as I have said we all can make mistakes). There are some people on here though that are relatively new to building but give the impression they know more than they do......they really grind my gears ;)
