Something went wrong, ordered a Mustang, yet ended up in a British hotrod, I blame OcUK!

Walk Gibbo. It's going to nag at you for the entire ownership period and I know what a perfectionist you are with things like alignment.
The missed services would be a red flag for me even on a £20k car let along one of this value.

These doubts will only get worse after ownership and why have the potential headache come resale time. I'd wait for the right example. I'm sure the black looks awesome in person but I wouldnt rule out Rossa Corsa red, you'd have no trouble moving it on and is screams classic ferrari without being overly in your face or shouty like yellow.

Colour is always subjective. Its nice, but as others mentioned, it does look like the Mazda metallic red (which is nice).

It would have to be the classic Ferrari red for me though. Yum.

Went with @Gibbo today to see the yellow one. Obviously after such a photo opportunity like this i told him to buy it!

Re: the red car being a demo, I think I actually drove that one in 2010/11 when the 458 was new. I'll have a photo on an old phone somewhere. Unless they had a couple in that colour. A Corsa almost crashed into me on the North Circular, maybe they hit the next person to drive it and bent the bonnet...

The black interior will be because people jump in and out of it all day doing test drives, it hides the dirt better than light colours do. Ferrari cream leather suffers badly from absorbing colour from people's trousers, especially blue from unwashed denim.

Looks lovely in Yellow, can’t make my mind up over that or the Black, the Red is fantastic but very predictable for a Ferrari.

Can’t help wondering if the SVR is real world the best of them all?

What a nice dilemma!
