Something went wrong, ordered a Mustang, yet ended up in a British hotrod, I blame OcUK!

I wonder if the red one has been a hire car at some point?

Enjoy the yellow one!

No idea was a Ferrari demoncar and had six owners and three missed services. I’ll admit I bet it’s still a nice car just because the colour but I’d want to do quite a bit of work to it or had it done as part of deal. Change silver callipers to yellow, retro fit some carbon parts etc.

End of day I’ve paid just over 10k more but got a younger car with less miles, less owners and in a much higher specification options wise. Plus also a very special colour and Ferrari’s true colour, yellow.

The yellow looks epic, not sure on the black wheels though. Needs these

They suite it and I’m not a fan of black wheels all my previous cars that and with black wheels the EVO and SVR were both changed to graphite, only 911 was left gloss black which was also yellow.

The dealership did offer to paint them but strongly advices against it because the car is in the spec as intended with gloss black roof, black sports side sills along with other black accents it all ties in!

Yes those are gorgeous wheels, they were on the black car I test drove, first one and really attracted me to it and at £4500 is a good price as they are 8k new if I could get them for 3k I might grab them shall maybe mail the seller. They are a very photogenic wheel also!

In the flesh the basic five spoke design looks much better and the wheel design does not get so lost been gloss black because spikes are thin and behind them is huge callipers so the design is not lost but in photos they do not photo as well.

First and main priority if all goes through is to attempt to recover the ceramic disc with sintered pads and just enjoy the car and I’d rather get another chunk paid off the car before buying, wheels, exhaust etc and if I want louder or the on and off bark annoys me I’ll disconnect the valves and just go for always noisy. :D

In fact who am I kidding probably be done in first week of ownership, lol!

While Gibbo was talking about what would need to be happening to make a deal happen, I was out running a hyper-critical eye over the car, and making a video of it so if he wanted to check anything and finding any issues. Didnt really make it for viewing pleasure so if you see me get close randomly or go back to a spot a few times its because something caught my eye, but hes asked me to post it up anyway :) (Make sure to set to max quality).

OK but can I drive this one around the carpark at Pod? :p

In that video, aside from three or four stone chips, which may well be dead flies/marks anyway, it looks completely mint. Which is incredible. Incredible condition. And in the sun the black wheels look much nicer too.

The Ferrari is lovely. I believe you’ve suggested it would be a daily driver, if this is the case I’d be genuinely worried about leaving it anywhere.

The Jag (which is my fav) kind of blends in, but would you really park this up and go shopping? Maybe I don’t have a high opinion of people...but I’d be worried it would be marked or damaged.

Is it just me or the lighting, where the nearside part of the front bumper where it meets the wing is a darker shade than the rest rest of the car? I imagine it being the lighting but it just caught my eye. Still can’t fault the car looks mint as it can for the age tbh.

The paint is a 3 stage metallic so it certainly can change tones depending on how youre angled to it.

Well spotted I can see it in some photos I took some less and some more, some not at all.

It is a colour changing paint due to angle, reflections etc but I’ve still sent an email with pictures that show it best and asked the question if it’s had paint but could just be angles of light as in some photos I took it looks perfect. I shall upload some tonight once I’m back at home.

Yes, sometimes it’s just cameras picking it up differently than to what the eye may see in person. Good to ask, and to check again as it only seems to be that bit of the bumper. Look forward to the photos.

Yes will ask and shall really examine that area but in person we both went over the car in detail and well did not spot anything.

It’s either the wing or bumper maybe a smart repair for a scratch or it’s nothing at all.

See what dealership says. :)
