Spanish Grand Prix 2011, Circuit de Catalunya- Race 5/19

from the BBC

1259: OK, more focus on McLaren now, as it's pretty important that they do something this afternoon. Our very own Andrew Benson tracked down a McLaren spokesman to find out more and he reports that the team were nonetheless 'pretty encouraged.' The McLaren source also told our man that first practice was mainly about gathering data on the upgrade's performance as well as set-up work with both drivers on the same fuel levels and tyres. McLaren added that they plan to 'converge the data and components' this afternoon, which we'll all look forward to...

Do we have the final word on when a decision will be made with the Team Lotus vs. Group LOLtus court battle, or are they still just saying 'oh, we'll get around to it'?

End of the month is what I've heard, but also that Team Lotus aren't worried.

I've just had a thought.
Has Vettel ever won a race, when he wasn't leading on lap1?
Of his 13 wins, he's only won 1 where he wasn't first into the first corner, Abu Dhabi 2009 - starting from 2nd.

And 3 have been won where he wasn't on pole, Abu Dhabi 2009, Malaysia 2010 starting 2nd, and Brazil 2010, starting 2nd to Hulkenberg.
No real comeback for the accusation that he's had it easy is there.

I honestly believe that he's potentially a more complete driver than Shuey ever was. His recent showing of consistency counts for a huge amount. It's not the last time he'll get world champion that's for sure... as long as he has the car.
