Spec me an LED Torch

Still no luck with my BLF A6.
New batteries maybe? Was supposed to be a xmas present :(
Just refuses to turn on, voltages or good in the batteries but won't charge fully on my intellicharger i2... but surely they should give some output to the torch??

Anyone any ideas please?

does it switch on if you remove the tail cap and short the battery negative to body?
 
Fantastic, I'm heading straight to poundland on Monday to pick up a few.

What's the build quality and tint like of the LED's and what's the lumen output?

Same here, I got an EA41 which works for me as I have loads of AA eneloops knocking about.

My dad was impressed but doesn't have a battery charger so I got him a Fenix UC 40 Ultimate. Seemed great, comes with a special 3400mAh rechargeable battery and can be recharged via micro USB, or can take (but not charge) 1x 18650 or 2x CR123A.
 
Yeah still can't make it work, think I might be a bit stupid. :mad:

Did you order your torch from Banggood? If so, when roughly did you place your order?

I ordered the same BLF A6 torch from Banggood about 2 weeks ago. I'm hoping it turns up just in time for Christmas. :D:o
 
So tried again last night just before bed and it worked. Very odd. Going to have a good play today to make sure it's still ok. I have to say that the mode switching is quite nice, soft tap. Very nice feature that.

Order shipped on the 12th and arrived Friday (18th). No tracking number? I did.

Mine was shipped on the 10th of this month and there's no sign of it yet. Currently the tracking number provides the following information: "The shipment was received on 12.17.2015 in the international logistics center Singapore."
 
Replacement reflector for the A6 arrived. The o-ring that sits between the reflector and the glass lens is a right pain, kept poking in view when the head was tightened
 
Just got my o-light baton s30 in the post. :D I can't believe how much light this tiny torch puts out for the tiny price of $18. Absolute bargain. Feels very very well made. The clicker feels substantial, a nice proper "click" when switching modes and turning the torch on and off. Well impressed. Excellent service from Banggood too!
