Do I also need to post the video of a certain top flight referee singing your theme tune?

I am aware the the Dundee Utd clip is not from last season but it shows just how much favour Rangers seem to get from the officials. When over half of the SPL managers complain about referees in games against Rangers last season, you can't reasonably argue that you simply get the rub of the green from time to time. None so blind as those who will not see.

Again, spell Celtic properly or I will have to assume you are doing it on purpose to annoy.

Yes or No, there is a conspiracy against Celtci.?

A simple yes, there is either a conspiracy, or No there isn`t.

Yes or No?.

With regards to the adopted "Theme Tune" of "Simply the best". It is used all over the world. David Brent used it as a motivational "outro" in his scene in The Office. I imagine thats what that specific referee you refer to was doing also. Unless your suggesting he was attempting to get his congregation to support Rangers?.

You really have no reason to be so paranoid. There is no agenda.

Once Rangers' small squad starts to get injuries later in the season the league should get more interesting to see if the transfer policy will come back to haunt them.

I don`t think it was out "policy" to get in to so much debt we couldn`t afford to buy players. :D I hate to think it was planned!

I`m very happy with our squad as it stands. The 5 additional players will each bring something.

Add that to the form of Miller and Naismith and i think we`ll do fine. That other lot have added too many players. It will be interesting to see the reaction once a piont or 2 is dropped.

Lennon has added less players than Walter Smith did when he became manager of Rangers. I don't remember Smith being lambasted for buying too many.

It's early days, but from what I've seen most of Celtic's signings look to be decent, with the exceptions of Mulgrew and Murphy who I am not that keen on currently. Celtic's problem is finding out the best starting 11. It's all very well having strength in depth, but if you can't get a settled 11 then you're going to run into problems.

I think Rangers have a strong spine: McGregor, Bougherra, Davis, Miller. I do think some Rangers fans, and the laptop loyal, have got a bit carried away with their signings, but as it stands I'd say Rangers have the edge as they have a settled team who have been over the course before and won the title. Celtic (that's how you spell it btw) have the potential to be good, but we have an inexperienced manager and a lot of new players who'll need time to gel. Add honest mistakes into the mix and it'll be a tough ask. Should be a good season though, whatever happens.

Any Aberdeen fans able to give us the low down on Ricky Foster.

Prior to this morning, if he had walked through my door, i wouldn`t have known who he was. I notice he has picked up a couple of player of the year awards among the Aberdeen fans.

I also read that he had a problem with Jimmy Calderwood. Can anyone enlighten us?. :)

He won't get in the Rangers team or at least he shouldn't get anywhere near it unless you have injury problems.

He got the player of the year last season but we were absolutely dreadful for most of that so he only got it for being not as rubbish as the others rather than actually being good.

He can run fast and is good at man marking or doing a job at full back (either side). The problem is he fell out of favour at Aberdeen because he refused to play full back and wants to play further forward. He can't pass a ball and his crossing ability is dreadful to say the least. In other words, if he doesn't want to or refuses to play as a full back he is useless. If Walter can get him playing at full back then he can do a decent job.

I won`t make any aplogies for typos.

Feel free to correct any you find.

You might want to read the new rules on page 1 (especially rule 1) in case it does annoy. ;)

As for Foster it looks like he was a buy to fill up the squad in case of injuries or covering for others on international duty? Surprising that it was done even with Velicka leaving Rangers.

Ok so apart from all that, is he any good? :D

:p
Full back - Yes
Man Marker - Yes
Anything else - No

Pros:
Pace

Cons:
Can't Pass or Cross

Doesn't really make a difference, unless Rangers are hit by injuries, he won't get a game. He is better than Mulgrew though ;)

Can we all start spelling their name correctly. Here is the correct spelling according to their travelling support..

Celtc :D

you couldn't make it up

Who's looking the most likely to go down this year? Motherwell Maybe?

So the Green Brigade bhoys spelt a banner wrong, okay, but two wrongs...... I'm more upset that they used Riordan as an example of great players who have moved to Celtic from Hibs.

I'm almost tempted to post pics of the bus banner that was trumped at Ibrox. It shows that spell checkers are not used on both sides with the Rangers banner stating O'ffended.

Anyhoo, back to the footie. Celts draw ICT in the League Cup but our little friends from the north aren't going to upstage us this year. Here's hoping that this will be the first cup in the bag on the way to the treble.

I just can't see what was in the Foster swap deal for Rangers

I suppose if you look back on Walter Smith`s career, you`ll see he had a penchant for this type of average player.

He sees something in them and inevitably they end up with more medals and silverware than anyone though they would.

Guys like Alec Cleland, Gary Bolan etc. Un-spectacular yet very capable of doing a specific job.

It`ll be interesting to see if he can develop.

ICT in a cup are like a cornered rabbid dog. Couple that with the fact that it wasn't the most comfortable win you had over them at the season opener, I wouldn't be so blasé about getting them in the cup.

He will offer average cover for a number of positions thats the only thing I can see in it.

@ Eddie I think you'll find the O'ffended was deliberate.

Finbarr O'ffended certainly gets around. :D

Maybe, in the interests of parity, Eddie should post up said picture.?
