Spring meet 5th April 2014

Haha, summer is just starting! Can those going that don't have trust on the OcUK forums let me know? I'm going to be giving my number out during the week to those going.

Again, you can ring whilst I'm on the bike, just letting me know your not coming on the day would be great if the weather is bad as I'm not holding others up waiting otherwise.
 
Just so everyone knows, I will be going 100% regardless of weather. If only a few come or the weather is bad and we still fancy a ride, we will do a Henley run. Tiny in comparison but at least it's something.

Weather forecast is back to sunny again... So still unpredictable.

As I said mate, sunshine, rain, hail or snow. I will be there at 0930. You can jump on the Multi if you want whilst others arrive :P

*Good news though I might get my bike back within the next few weeks, then its all go to get it safety checked and track ready for May.

Sorry yea, H cafe, I will be there from half 9, hopefully there will be some, if the weather is crap, it might just be a ride to Henley or something like that. But if the roads are dry, a ride to Brighton will be had :D Even if I go alone lol.
 
Sad times mate!

Well, I have bad news as well, I tried to ride today, and my hand wasn't too bad but it certainly wasn't great.

Good news is, by Saturday it will be better, but don't expect any of my riding like the last meet lol. I can only grip the handlebar with 3 fingers on my right hand... The index finger just awkwardly points out like ET.

Sending out my number tonight to the list of those going (not updated with cancels so sorry if you get my number and not attending).

I'm desperately hoping the chance of rain shifts to Sunday only. But it's not looking likely.

As I said, if only a few show up, I see no reason we can't do a smaller ride but I will much prefer to do the Brighton run.
 
Aye, my hand was the size of a melon.

If it's pretty bad and it's a 60%+ no show, shall we simply change the date and try again? Those that arrive this Sat will decide what to do I guess. But it seems a few of us are already in 2 mind sets about it.
 
I'm still 100% in :) Cleaning the bike tomorrow lol.

We could add a stop into Loomies? Would be there for about midday I guess. See how it goes really.

Another one bites the dust, seems only a few of us are going to be there on the day then lol

I think the chances are we will ride from H cafe to Loomies, and then see how we feel from there.
 
Shame there are so many drop outs :(

Oh well, I'm still looking forward to it, the GPS can either take us on relatively easy but fast paced A roads or twisty fun and slow B roads. Either option takes around 2-2.5 hours. So see how we feel really :)
 
Yea, should be alright, just not sun tan sunny. As I've said, a run down to Loomies and see how it goes :)

Yea, weather got a bit cack at some point. Nice and dry in Reading still though lol. Sorry for my GPS guys. At least I know the twistiest route option is a tad bit extreme I have dialled it back a little so hopefully won't have a repeat of it again lol.

Let's try again when the weather picks up :)

Now... Time to ride to Clapham with the gf on the back, panniers and top box :(
