Stag Do000s and unfaithfulness.

The only pole dancing on my stag do was performed by me. I went snowboarding and was made to dance in a frock for a room full of wanton men (and a few women). I quite enjoyed it.

who cares, she'll probably do something similar on her hen night unless you're marrying a prude

By your standards or the sort of person you're likely to date... for the rest of us grown ups, realise that that sort of behaviour is not something you do. If you cannot have fun without some sort of morally ambiguous sort of activity then well perhaps marriage is not for you. Do the girl a favour and tell her the truth and find someone else with a low moral code.

Your friends should know what you want - my friends/best man knew that that sort of thing holds no appeal, so there was non of it. If you fancy a strip club, then good for you.... however we are talking about cheating/indecent behaviour with another woman/man on your stag/hen do. Are you saying it is okay to sleep with someone just because it's your stag do/hen do? Or behave sexually with someone else?

I wasn't talking about unfaithfulness, if you take it further than just a dance then yeah you're a **** but nothing wrong with a bit of a dance and a laugh, you could argue watching porn is worse than getting a dance...

The problem is you jumped into this thread (which is about people cheating on their stag/ hens) and said you might as well do whatever because your other half will anyway unless they are a prude.

Nobody in this thread has said going to a strip club is wrong at all. If your actual view on this subject is the post above, then fine, that makes sense and you don't sound like a prat. You just came across very badly in your first post.

Looking to book my stag do next year with the lads, will consist of karting, paintball etc

Then a meal out and a club to drink and have a laugh

I can hand on heart say she wouldn't dream of cheating on me.. as I would never do it to her (past partners have been complete **** for both me and her)

Stag do or not, it's a no no for me :)

Firstly i am not married so in my past a Stag Do has usually been a way for me to waste a few 100 quid in a strip bar whilst getting very drunk and having various young ladies rub themselves all over me like cats in heat.

Last 2 I've been to both of the grooms to be have fully "gone for it" with dancing girls to the point were it got me thinking i'm glad their wives to be wont hear about this its actually going a little too far....(in my opinion)

SO i ask married men of OcUK, Best men and friends of the soon to be hitched, do you think there is anything wrong with the cliche "last night of freedom" with a carte blanche to do "what you want"? Or should you show a little respect for your wife to be and beloved(I would hope?)

Obviously this would apply to a Hen night too but i don't think married woman are not too strongly represented on here. Anyone know any Brides or Grooms that were "caught out" and the wedding was canceled or secrets so heinous they will be taken to their graves? :D

Both couples in my tale are still both very happily married and i'm sure one of their wives said very coolly, "what happens on your stag night is none of my business," personally i think that is woman speak for go too far and i will kill you.... but anyway!

Am i being a prude ? or just getting old...:p
Discuss.

I think you are being a bit of a prude.

It depends on the attitude of your fiancée. My wife is not really the type to get jealous or offended and I was happy to tell her what went on on my stag do (Stripclubs in Budapest are a bit more "hands on" than UK!).

however I know it is fairly common for stags to sleep with prostitutes - personally i think that is going a bit too far
