Star Trek Online

I've been online pretty much daily. Still doff'ing like a madman. There's been a couple of new items, and there's a KDF only mission being released this week(?)

So it's still going along.

I play two to three nights a week, just hit 50 after 23hrs of play. If you have not done the 2800 missions you should as they are some of the best I've done! The borg missions on the 9pm daily are good too.

Yawn, still issue of getting to end quickly and then relying on some other player making actually decent foundry missions.

I'd gotten the oddyssey on two toons during the anniversary event, and they're both gone now. GMs say they can do nothing, so I'm screwed unless I buy a new top tier ship. So I just stopped playing :p

I am still in favour of it going Eve style, a lot bigger, a lot longer to do things, randomnly browse the universe, warp between system etc and graphics to suit

the graphics are good as they are...

better than eve imo (i played eve around 3-4 years ago so it might of changed since then)

The actual combat is fine, better than getting nobbled in Eve by someone using one of the dozens of exploits while you struggle with the atrocious interface :p

It needs Eve's size though, give us nullsec and let the two sides actually fight over it.

Just started playing this again.

Really quite enjoying it!:o

I don't think it is that surprising, it is a decent game and space combat was always fantastic.

It is just a shame that it didn't get much financial backing and had loads of content missing as a result.

I have fond memories of this game, especially playing with OcUKers at release and with our revisit to it about 18 months later. Don't think I could ever go back to it though.

I find the cash shop just shoved down your throat too much. The whole lockbox thing and the way they announce server wide when someone's gotten a rare ship from one, it's more like a casino than an mmo now.

You can turn off the announcements that pop up in the centre of the screen in the options & all it does it come up in chat then - so that shouldn't bother you so much.

I quite like how the ingame finance works, there's not really anything in the shop you can't just work towards ingame by just playing.

Season 6 is on its way, this will bring in fleet starbases and all sorts. I am not sure how active our fleet is now but I will be setting this up.

I haven't really seen anyone online when I've been on, although I was playing GW2 beta over the weekend.

Just be aware that some of the resource requirements are quite steep.. like 500,000 Dilithium for Rank 2.

Well either that or i leave the fleet, but i have plenty of spare resources to chuck into it or of course could start selling of the fleet bank items?

Im in the game at some point everyday, and im usualy the only person on in the fleet. Ive been trying the new events on Tribble, but it pretty dead over there, hard to even get a 5 player team together.

Im an enginner flying a cruiser and even with mark XII purple tech from Elite STF's I feel useless in the new survival event ;)
