Everything seems to improved a fair bit, althoug it does seem that when the yanks are on it slows right down

Ouch, had the heating on high as it's snowing here again without realising the kinda temps this game is pushing GPU's to. 2 x monitor going into standby before i realised.
 
They're not upto the highest current standards, but I think the thing that makes them seem worse is the animation and gameplay, especially the ground combat which is a bit like Star Wars Galaxies. Complete with enemies going on mad dashes whilst firing weapons and the general clunky feel of movement.
 
I get the feeling they tried to give ground combat a little bit of a KOTOR feel, minus turn based. I'm surprised they didn't adapt what they knew from CoH and CO to ground combat more than they have, for all the faults both games have their combat fluent.
