****Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker - Official Thread****

So the latest trilogy is rubbish because it didn't follow MY idea of how it would go. Anybody who doesn't say this film is terrible and crap is either wrong and/or being paid off. Yer - really do need to get over this.

You're just missing the point. These just aren't star wars films. They are Disney's answer to the marvel universe with a big shiny star wars sticker on them.

They are terrible when judged as star wars films.

Or..maybe...jsut maybe, the last 2 films no matter what came before them have been total dumspter fires?

No they certainly were not.

If you think they are that's up to you and you are entitled to your opinion.

I personally enjoyed them and yes they have faults but they were still fun and entertaining.

Faults like a cohesive story arch that made any sense and didn't deviate at every turn. Some of the worst characters made for utter filler and certain markets.

Let's hope then that this films sorts out the story arch and that there was a reason for TLJ. I'm sure they have it all planned and it will make sense in the end.

Just had a look on my local cinema site (the only cinema showing Episode IX with only a single screen) and you can still easily get tickets for the Saturday (1/3 free), Sunday (1/2 free) and Monday which is practically empty. I'm not sure if they're showing it on Friday as it usually shows the date with Sold Out next to it if it's unavailable but not showing anything for Friday. Think that give a good indication of peoples disinterest in Disney Star Wars tbh.

I really don't like the look of it, looks like mindless eye candy..

I've got a free ticket to see this on Thursday, as work has booked an entire cinema for us to watch it, but I think I'm gonna stay in the office and work.

Because I'm such a ****** miserable **** :D

ah, I've booked to take my son on Saturday. IMAX.

to be honest, I couldn't really care less. It's just about spending time with him more than anything else. We'll make a day of it.

any of that milking cows **** nonsense and I'm nodding off.

Daughters seeing frozen 2.

I'm expecting it be to crap, who knows.
