**Star Wars Outlaws Open World Star Wars game from Massive Entertainment**

Seems to be very heavy on fog effects too. Haven't really had a good scene for it but wondering if raised blacks are an issue.
Seemed to have a lot of grey bits.
Standard Ubisoft though, it's a 6-7/10. Not good, not terrible. Could change as I go further in as I only played 30m.

Please tell me you only subscribed for a month and did not pay to buy this game

Please tell me that's not a serious question.
I think this game needs to be played with a controller. It is embarrassingly easy with a mouse and keyboard in combat.

Very resource hungry for an average looking game. Very heavy lighting effects, RTX etc but not really achieved much vs conventional tech.

Even IGN isn't giving it good marks. Maybe Ubisoft forgot to pay them this time :D

Everyone saw this coming I think, even previews made the game look boring.

7/10 is peak Ubisoft, nor is it a bad score.

Doesn't look anything special from what I've seen post launch. Graphics are kinda "meh" ( @mrk Hogwarts looks waaaaay better than this ! ) , but I know that's subjective. Combat ( and the AI ) look dreadful. Don't think I'd even pick this up at 50% off ... very much a basement bargain purchase, or not at all.

I would disagree strongly and furiously about Hogwarts looking better than this :p

For starters ray tracing is broken to this day in Hogwarts, and still "High" looks better than Ultra in Hogwarts lol. Hogwarts also still has traversal stutter which never got fixed (like Dead Space and Jedi Survivor).

I'll take some minor traversal stutter any day over this Ubislop ! :D

my biggest worry is this will be like a lot of (especially ubi lately) open world games, that its massive and after a few hours, very boring / repetitive

Looks like it’d be fun at sale price once it’s been patched, but I’m not feeling it as a purchase right now.

Anyone seen any performance data on how a 7900xtx handles this?

Seems to be getting scores in the 7/10 region from the reviews i've seen. Think i will just go for the Ubisoft membership for a month for 14.99 and blast through it that way. Worth 15 quid of my money but not anymore.

Watched Lirik play a few hours last night and it surprised me with how well it looked and ran, will be getting it once it's on sale.

What did surprise me is with maxed out settings at 1440p he was using 21gb VRAM on the 4090  most I've seen a game use.
