Is there any way to turn off the markers over the heads of enemies and makers pointing which way to go?
They ruin immersion.

Played a couple of hours...generally ok but nothing to write home about.
Possible fix for low texture quality. It seems that the amount of memory for streaming assets is set to an extremely low number for modern hardware.

Graphics settings.cfg
Open in notepad and look for [“streamer dedicated”] = 64
Change it to:
[“streamer dedicated”] = 4096
Or
[“streamer dedicated”] = 8192
DONT FORGET TO SAVE. If the game crashes or you run out of vram try 1024 or 2048. I have a 4080 and was getting potato textures in the first open world and now my game looks great again. May or may not work for you but it did for me and a friend. Happy launch day hope you all have fun
Have you tried enabling explorer mode in the gameplay optionsIs there any way to turn off the markers over the heads of enemies and makers pointing which way to go?

*Ubisoft, welcome to Ubisoft, where optimisation takes a back seat time after time. The game sounds like it's a mess technically and Nvidia's RTXDI destroys your framerate (and frametimes) for very little difference in image quality. What are these developers playing at?

Didn't you buy the AC Valhalla Steelbook/special edition?
Just mentioning that in case you were excluding yourself from "people"
Nope!
I did buy it on release though and quite enjoyed it up until the final third or so that became a massive grind.
Sorry, I have not tried the game, just saw the markers in the videos I have seen.Have you tried enabling explorer mode in the gameplay options
Does it have that Star Wars "magic" about it? You lot may find this hard to believe, but when I was a kid Star Wars was a really big deal.
Although Avatar and the Division were quite good and use the same engine (and the same developers) I think.*Ubisoft, welcome to Ubisoft, where optimisation takes a back seat time after time.
