**Star Wars Outlaws Open World Star Wars game from Massive Entertainment**

Hi
not read the whole thread so i apologise if i get the wrong end of the stick........ but i am not seeing it to be honest.

ok there is Elite Dangerous........... yes it is a running joke that all the characters (that are engine created, not the artist driven ones) are butt ugly....... but that that is the same for both sexes and just how the face creator works.
but in general

1) dont you think it is a bit tiresome that in most TV media the huge majority of the lead roles are pretty people........ I would say there is an obvious push for inclusivity - in terms of sexuality, race and even size (and i am not saying that is a bad thing) but even then for the most part the actors / esp actresses tend to be uncannily pretty.

I dont mind either way, but it is a fact that the average cast on a TV show is a far fling from the average people picked from the street so maybe games are just believable?

2) in general even in games most lead roles are generally attractive anyway (not that it even matters). Aloy in HZD, apparently she is not attractive enough? I mean come on!. she is living in the wilderness eating scraps she can find, and fighting giant robot monsters and crazy natives. and still she does look feminine and attractive. I would say it would be more offensive to women if she did look super dolled up and attractive in some over sexed up attire.

if you want that just play Dead or Alive fighting / volleyball.

I have no issues at all with the female lead in starwars outlaws..............i do have an issue with its price, and the fact that it will likely just be a standard ubisoft game reskinned.

i will pick up because its starwars, but will wait for inevitable sale under £20. I would haver been more interested if coop like the Division which for me those 2 games have been the best from ubisoft in a long long time.

People just cherry picked some images and screamed woke.

The character looks fine, they have that star wars 80's aesthetic

I have read the whole thread and don't get it either however could not agree more with these points.
In earlier development leaks it very much looked like Division 3 in the Star Wars universe, which would have been a great idea unfortunately looks to be heading more towards some of the other Ubi games. Lets hope I'm wrong.

This game looks absolutely garbage. Why anyone would want to play this day 1 I don't know. The gameplay looks weak and repetitive, too much of the trailer is not gameplay but some in game video.

This is a very weak small game that is going to be huge because of copy and paste. There's going to be grind grind grind to pad it out.

It's so unfortunate but this game is not being made by the right developers.

Almost certainly.

I won't be buying at launch, will be waiting until the core missions like Jabba etc are free or half price. Sod Ubisoft and their pay for everything gymnastics. I may not even buy it at all depending on the extent of their bs.

Doesn’t look bad at all.
Still can’t get why they made Kay look like she’s been chasing parked cars though, but hey, it is what it is.

Not really my cup of tea, I'm not particularly a fan of Star Wars but I will probably play this anyway, especially as I will already be getting Ubisoft+ for a few months as a cheap way to play Assassins Creed Shadows might as well. 3 months of Ubisoft+ is what...£45, so I can play and wrap up AC Shadows and this (if its good enough to play through) for the 45 notes, which I guess is ok. Ubisoft will likely get my full money for Anno 117 though because I LOVE the Anno games :D

IMO you could use this comment to describe pretty much any Ubisoft game now.

Yup, their open worlds are unparalleled, Avatar was incredibly immersive, they just don’t fill them with much new other than the usual rinse and repeat questions and collectibles. That said, I’ll probably give this a go, I’m sure I’ll get the hours out of it. With a bit of luck I’ll be over Helldivers by then.
