Steam link gaming thread.

Also would recommend those thinking about it to purchase from GAME tonight if they decide they want one.

The Link price mirrored the Steam sale price the day after so I expect to see it back to £39.99 tomorrow etc.
 
I'm really enjoying Redout on my 55" TV :)

For those that don't know, you can just minimise Steam and your Desktop will be displayed so anything can run through steam link, obviously don't close steam!
 
Got mine today direct from steam most games saying mouse and keyboard required i have hooked up at xbox 360 controller got bioshock infinate to work flawlessly.

anyone got the half life games running on a 360 controller ? looks like may have to mess with a steam/valve config file for it too work bugger :( the video streams fine on my wired network but the controller does nothing.

is the official steam controller any better ? would like a hassle free experience if possible.

edit : got half life 2 working with the xbox controller have to enable joystick / gamepad in the settings also dead island , diablo 3 with a cheap wireless hand-held keyboard though and wow but would need some binoculars to read the guild chat :)

Rust doesn't work with the steam link sadly, I think EAC (easy anti cheat) Blocks it

Other than that it faultless, had it since release and it's been brilliant on a power line connection, in fact I use it to play all my 3rd person games due to preferring a controller with them, Dirt3, gta5, tomb raider, Alan wake, Quantum Beeak and now I'm playing through all the batman Arkham games

Brilliant bit of kit!

Shame I couldn't get used to the Steam Controller at all, spent 3 or 4 months using and I still couldn't get my head round it, Xbox 360 pad work a treat with the link
 
I ended up purchasing two in the end.

Not going to be using it for games, they make a SUPERB, cheap and dirty media streaming box :D
 
Ordered mine again yesterday after my card being blocked by CC company security check and it's still unshipped.

And the controller plus case is showing out of stock.

Think I'm resigned to not getting this now.
 
ordered mine last Thursday 24th got shipped / tracking info notification on Sunday arrived weds so 6 days for me. this is from steam shipped from the netherlands
 
I got the stream link today, and am about to go out and buy some controllers.

I want to be able to play FIFA on my PC, via streamlink downstairs.

However, I want to be able to play with 2 controllers for multiplayer purposes ( so me and my brother can both play ). I would like both controllers to be wireless/Bluetooth.

Does anyone know what controllers I should buy that will work as I need them to ?

2 controllers - 1 steam link - multiplayer via Bluetooth/wireless.
