So... a quick leg session.

HANG SNATCH (3) BAR-40-60-60-60
BACK SQUAT 60(3)-90(42) Errrrmagersh. That was foul.

So. In five minutes I managed 42; I was duffed up by 4:30 but figured that was more than that fey git of a cyclist and therefore enough. :D

Legs are ruined. Very ruined.

42! :O I'm tempted to try this but very scared at the same time...

To be fair, what hurt the most was my upper back-dated keeping that tension for five minutes was actually painful.

Yes, my legs are tired and sore today, but they aren't actually that bad. It wasn't the sort of thing that left me close to vomiting (10RM on DBSS is actually worse), it was just metabolic irritation. If that is a thing.

Probably a hint that I didn't try hard enough. :(

First leg day ever using only machines. Very weird.

HACK SQUAT THING (3*10) Full stack; not very interesting.
SINGLE LEG HACK SQUATT (3*10) Half stack; going for full DBSS pain.
QUAD HAMAGE SUPERSET (20-10-20) Worked down to a full stack, but just couldn't get enough... so piled on the reps.

A gash workout, but figured I would at least try the gym in my current office. I do t really see the attraction of machines unless a person is determined to squeeze the last marginal gain out of a muscle. My legs feel like they have worked, but only on the surface... after a squatting session, even my bones feel tired (probably the difference between muscle and neural fatigue).

Regardless, it was an experience... and I will see whether it is worth it next time I squat.

Finally got back in the gym this morning... Cheeky ten minute session...

SEATED STRICT PRESS (12) 40-45-45
PUSH-UP (12) BW-BW-BW

Not amazing, but nice to get at least some part of a workout...

Urgh... so long since leg day. I should have posted in MoNkeE's log. :D

HANG POWER SNATCH (5) BAR-40-50-60(3) That wasn't very nice...
BACK SQUAT (10) 60-60-70 Weight wasn't a problem, but the movement sucked.

Back into fasted, early morning training. It's been a while. And I haven't missed it.

:D

Back day...

DEADLIFT (5) 100-120-130 Finding my range... Could probably have managed 150kg, but that would have been pointless in the medium-long term.
PENDLAY ROW (12) 60-70-70
SAR (12) Probably around 30kg...
BIZEPS Nowhere near enough...

*sigh*

Hip is starting to cause problems again, so it feels like squats are out for a couple of weeks.

So I did 4*12 DBSS instead.

I am actually struggling to walk.
