Street Fighter 6 coming with "immersive" single player mode (2023)

Was just about to post this, downloading now off work tomorrow happy days. Think I'm gonna get it on PS5 or PC, not sure yet.

Edit2: Spent around an hour on it. Played against CPU first with the normal control mechanism. Managed to pull off a couple 4 hit combos but struggled to using the Drive attacks in my combos :/ Then went into the "GTA" mode which is kinda cool. The player customizastion is really deep like an RPG game, they've put a lot of effort into that :cool:
As for the gameplay it's like a faster version of 5 imo. I like it but need to spend more time with it if I'm to get it on Day 1

Yeah I would have prefered other characters but this has been known since the roster leak last year so I was prepared for the bad news :p Couldn't care less about Ed or Rashid but Rashid seems to be like amongth the community. Wouldn't be surprised if they went with Ed again due to this button only specials, gives another option for beginners. Personally I hates fighting against both of them! A.K.I looks interesting and possibly an improved F.A.N.G style characters with poison etc. Probably another who will be annoying to fight against :p No complaints with Akuma other than we've gotta wait almost a year but if kinda makes sense from a sales point of view. After a year a lot of people will have started to drop the games and but the release of Akuma should help bring them back and spark interest again.
 
I just don’t get why we don’t get all the standard characters on release every time. Then charge people for the silly rubbish ones I don’t care about after.

These characters should be available from the start each time!

Can replace T.Hawk with Akuma though :cry:

I genuinely don’t think I care for any other character.

SF6 is set after SFV and if the events of SFV are anything to go buy shadaloo is no more and Bison is dead. Will be insteresting to see how they choose the bring Sagat, Balron, Vega and Bison back though because I'm fully expecing it too happen.

TBF to Capcom we get all the original World Warriors and Cammy and Dee Jay from the start. I would have like Fei Long also but what you gonna do.

As far as features go SF6 looks to be including literally every feature thats been requested in a fighting game. Tekken 8, Project L, Garou 2 and MK12 (whenever it gets announced) will have a lot to live upto feature wise
