'Suicide bomber' taxi explodes at Liverpool Women's Hospital

Yes I understand this but it doesnt make that 50% extremists in my opinion.

Really? Now if a bunch of non Muslim white Europeans said they hated gays and ( let's call them Nazis)would love to see them punished or worse then they would be what?

Misunderstood?

Whilst Homosexuality is far from my thing, I neither think it should be illegal nor linked (as it appears) to this incident...

Although quite amusing to think the "many virgins awaiting this moron" may well be dissapointed....

Why shouldn't they not be linked?
They die for a cause, that cause is to impose thier way of life/laws/values upon us, that means punishing gays etc.

He died believing in this, with others pushing him along with the same views, so yes they very much are linked.

I see those crazy jokesters in the religion of peace are back at it again with their wacky shenanigans.

Whilst I freely conceed I may have missed it, where is it linked?

In the news no where, but people elsewhere, like on here etc link the two together and rightly so.

Unless I'm missing your point entirely, in which case I'll put an apologise in here for you as I'm half asleep.

No apology needed, I have only skim read the thread and gleaned my info from the news, not elsewhere, genuinely puzzled as to where the homosexual aspet of this comes from.... :/

Basically it came from someone denying that extremist views are held by only a small percentage of muslims. Someone posted the fact that 50% of them in the UK think homosexuality should be a criminal offence.

The first point I'd agree with (meaning I would say it's a tiny minority that are extremist if at all). I know many Muslims, not one - to my knowledge - an extremist.

Most of my Muslim friends indeed look down on homosexuality (along with many, but not all, of my non-Muslim friends) but, I have to say I'm yet to hear the view that it should be illegal from either group, myself included.

This is 2021 after all, not the 1950's.....

Are you arguing with the source then, keep in mind the source is a well known liberal outlet?

History shows that it only takes a few to push for a change, the others only have to go along with it/ not actively oppose it.

That, of course, applies to all of us and in all situations.

You have to wonder (pure conjecture here) what Britain would look like if it was 51% muslim. Even if only 10% wanted being gay to be illegal, for a certainty the rest wouldn't oppose such a move. One suspects it would be almost guaranteed that such a law would be enacted.

BBC News correspondent Ed Thomas said Al Swealmeen was a refugee from Syria who was befriended and supported by Malcolm and Elizabeth Hitchcott, who knew him as Enzo, when he arrived in the UK.

So will the person that signed off on allowing this **** into the country be facing any disciplinary action? And to think, thousands of these people are simply rocking up in dinghys and being escorted into the country by the very people charged with keeping our borders safe and secure.

I agree fully. We keep letting people into the country who should not be here. Why are we letting people into the country with mental health problems? We can’t even look after the ones with problems born here.

We are opening ourselves up to more attacks the more we let in, if we want to provide refuge give it to educated people who have been properly vetted not people like this.

A lot of people fleeing war will have PTSD which is a...mental health issue.
