With what we're rumoured to want I can't see it happening, origi hasn't really done much of note and markovic did well nothing at allDeal sheet in for Zouma to Everton, apparently.
Still plenty of time.
They've both likely to go abroad so today's deadline doesn't matter. We won't get a penny for Markovic but it will be interesting to see what happens to Origi. The club are claiming that they won't consider letting him go on loan but I'm not convinced that will be the case if nobody offers a substantial fee.I can only assume are insane rumoured asking prices for origi and markovic is why they didn't move on
Course it matters the fees were expecting are stupid. They've both likely to go abroad so today's deadline doesn't matter. Huh? What I was saying was that neither player was likely to leave to another PL side so today's deadline doesn't change anything regarding whether they leave or not.Course it matters the fees were expecting are stupid.
What makes you think forign clubs will pay the fees?
Looks like Ings is off to Southampton on a loan with a view to buy him next season. Trying to get £20m for him given how little football he's played in the past 2-3 years always seemed optimistic.
It's been a long day I just re read your post my bad.Huh? What I was saying was that neither player was likely to leave to another PL side so today's deadline doesn't change anything regarding whether they leave or not.
I don't believe we will get the fees the club have briefed, I even said that in the post you've just quoted. I expect Markovic will be shipped out on loan again with us paying half his wages but I'm interested to see what happens with Origi. If you look back to Sakho, the club kept him and stuck him in the reserves for 6 months rather than accept a loan and the club are briefing the press that they won't loan Origi out. If nobody offers £20m+ will they keep him or will they back down and loan him out? I suspect some sort of compromise will be reached similar to last summer where he's loaned out but we demand a big loan fee. Probably something similar with Mignolet too.
Same but with Ings injury record maybe it's for the best. Sturridge might have been best to go but has zero value so we'll see. Still have Solanke but lots of news about a loan to rangers so figure that might be him off.Rather origi went and not Ings myself
Everton have some some pretty decent players there.
You can’t have that attitude though, you’ll never get anywhere.seems a waste of money though as it won't get them in top 4 (or even 6) the gap is far too big
