Anyway, I think saying players are too good for clubs is a ridiculous argument. No player is bigger than a football club. Arsenal are still one of the biggest clubs in the world. No player is too good for them. Same goes for Pool, United, Chelsea, City etc.

So Messi isn't too good for Stoke? Of course he is. Coutinho is still an elite player and should be playing for one of the top 5-6 clubs in Europe.

Yes, but Stoke are a championship club with limited financial resources and even more limited international presence. That’s not really the best example. I know you want him back, but that’s no reason to **** all over the other clubs who might be after him. I bet you’ve never had one player who you thought was too good for Liverpool, and I doubt there’s any players who you ever thought was too good for Liverpool.

Can never understand it when good keepers move to become a backup. Do they not actually want to play. GK is the one position where you hardly ever have to cover an injury. He will get a few league cup games at most.
