Quite Probably, my only problem with Van der Sar is his age, I could never understand how he was able to spend so long at fulham with nobody going in for him.
He was certainly top class then (with Cudiccini and Neimi if I recall right) - that seems so long ago now considering where the latter two are nowadays

Everton don't need another striker. We have Yakubu, Jo, Saha, Vaughan and Anichebe with the option of Cahill to play up top if the others are slow back from injury. We need a right back more than anything.

I said before the end of last season they are amoung the favs to go down this year. They seem to be preparing for it already.

Aye, its just annoying the fact that since being in the prem and the millions you get going up we have broke even if not made a profit on players, the crowds that come the DW stadium and the price sees us Blackburn, Bolton all in the same boat.
Thing is their are as bad or equal teams in the prem with Wigan, Stoke, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Blackburn, Bolton plus the 3 that have come up, you just seem to hate Wigan for some reason.

Your paranoid. Why am I not allowed to tip anyone to go down without you getting all pouty about it. Any of the 3 times I've said it since the end of last year you have to claim I hate them. I just think they haven't got enough about them to stay up and are selling the best players without replacing them with any quality so far.
If I said I think Hull are going down as well is it because I hate them?

I dont think we (Wigan) will get relegated this season!

Portsmouth look in serious trouble at the moment, its like they are already preparing for the championship, clearing out big earners, getting in loan players and old heads
a poor start will see them in a postion they cannot recover from even if the takeover goes through
I still think Wigan will be better than hull and bolton as well as well as the newly promoted teams, but then again it all depends on your new manager...all the nice football in the world wont help you if you cannot finish of teams, the baggies proved that last season
