**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

I wouldn't be suprised if Wenger was in for him actually, if you think about it.

He can play all across the midfield 3 and on either wing in the front 3, so with this new formation he would probably play more often than not.

we've got something like 764 players competing for all those slots, and the new formation means one less attacking player and one more defensive player. 4-4-2 gives you 5 attacking players and one defensive, 4-3-3 the way we do it, 4 attacking players, 2 defensive.

The only reason we'd buy yet another attacking midfielder is if its believe that Rosicky won't be making it back. He's also been so ridiculously good for Real Madrid, that they are trying to shift him for nothing, not exactly a great sign. Nor the fact that he wasn't very good for them and hasn't looked very good for Holland either. He and Schneider are both stupidly overrated.

If we aren't bringing in people for the future who are currently on tiny wages, or world class stars who WILL start lots of games I don't see the reason to stick another 60k wage onto the wage bill for someone who won't actually improve the squad and won't play much.

If there's been one rumour that has gradually annoyed me more and more as the summer has gone on it has to be Ribery to Chelsea/Utd. Neither club actually wants him, I'm sick to death of continually hearing about him, Bayern have priced him out of the market, no club has made an official approach for him maybe apart from Real Madrid. This summer has to be the absolute worst for transfer rumours/news. Honest to god these 'journalists' just make half this crap up to make it look as if they are dishing the gossip. /end of rant.

Whether he's right about it or not it's irrelevant. He sounds like a **** trying to tell Moyes, who's been a more successful manager, what to do.

You think that he has said this to him directly?

He's most likely been asked about the situation by the journo and given his opinion.

What's wrong with that?

It's insulting to Moyes? I don't see why he has to give his opinion, most managers would just say 'that's a decision for David I think.'
