As stated - next summer is when most players will cost the most so even more unlikely Utd will buy anyone then

I would also suggest that anyone signing for any of the top four in England are still at the top of the game so wouldnt be discounted arbitrarily from their Int teams for signing on to any of them (being a big signing they arent likely to miss CL or EPL games)

I disagree on both parts, United almost always make big signings during World Cup/Euro summers

As for your second point it depends on how stretched said international side are for players, say for example we signed Silva this summer and he failed to settle to the English lifestyle which in turn effected his game to the point where he wasn't getting games with the amount of talent at Spain's disposal I can quite easily see him possibly missing out on the squad especially if someone else ends up having a brilliant season for their club

The papers are getting the most out of the Aguero to Chelsea story before A. Madrid's UCL game tomorrow I see, as they know that once he plays in that there is pretty much no chance he is moving clubs (at least to another UCL club).

I hope I'm wrong though, I hope he does come to Chelsea

They named him in the squad for the game tomorrow and I believe he's travelled to Panathinaikos too so that's probably the end of our chances of getting him.
Shame really as he's just the sort of player we (still) need and at the right age too

He does look quite good from youtube scouting (although that's obviously nothing to really go by) and I'd rather we got a promising youngster for £1.5m than Pirlo for £20m or more any day.

Sotiris Kyrgiakos from AEK. Nothing official yet but reports over there are saying it's done and there are some quotes from him thanking the AEK fans and claiming the deal's done (or as good as done).

Voronin's still likely to be on the way out and quite possibly Dossena too which should raise a bit of cash. There are also stories saying N'Gog is going out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, if that's true and if Voronin is leaving then surely we're in the market for another striker.
