I won £58 quid last night cause Mexico Won :D Dos Santos goal was unreal!

Sign him up Ferguson :p

And here is the highlights for the rest of the goals for anyone interested.

I was just watching the Mexico v USA goal compilation video and can you imagine Martin Tyler saying "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal" every time someone scores? Even if it's a scrappy little tap-in? :D

I really don't get the hype over Hulk :/

I was very impressed with him when Porto playing at OT a couple of seasons back, haven't seen anything of him since then though.

At the time I wouldn't of minded us signing him albeit he looked very similar to Tevez.... well that Argie **** aint at United anymore so that wouldn't be a problem now

From what I have seen of him he looks average. Must have missed his good games

To be honest I don't watch the Portuguese league so the only thing I have to go on are his statistics and they don't give you any indication of how he plays. From what little I've seen of him in the European competitions he's a left footer who plays on the right and cuts inside. His league stats are very good but the Portuguese league is much weaker than the other top leagues in Europe. Going on his stats on Wikipedia in his senior career he's made a total of 178 appearances and scored 106 goals. It doesn't say how many assists he has but in the season just passed ESPN Soccernet say he assisted 4 times in the league, for some reason they don't have his Europa League stats listed on his page on ESPN.

He's still only 24, at the right price he'd be worth buying to see if he can improve in a more competitive and higher quality league, but I'd imagine as he's one of Porto's best players they'd ask for a ridiculous amount. I don't have any idea how long his current contract is or if there's a release clause but at the moment going on the clubs he's played for, and the stats he can only be considered potential and nothing greater.

I can't comment on his stats but seen him in a few european games and he has looked ok. He could have been having off games though when I watched.

Well if it is Adam in, shifting Meireles out, i'd rather Adam in, shift Spearing out.

And okay then, if Adam is Aqualani's replacement i'd rather Aqua back.

It isn't Adam shifting Meireles out. It's far from certain that Meireles will leave and if he does, Adam will have played little to no part in it as he's not being signed to play on the right or off the front.

As for Aquilani, I too would like him back and even after Meireles having a decent season, I'd have still rather kept Aquilani and not signed Meireles (even after ignoring the stupidity of the financial side of the deal(s)) last season too. However, it appears as if Aquilani's set on staying in Italy and it's easy to understand why after the way he was messed around last summer.

Ah! What a goal. Shocking defending.

Great little touches to keep it away from the keeper but after the first touch where he takes it away from Howard that's the time when one of the defenders should really be closing him down before he can get in a shooting position. Great play and a good finish, there's no denying that. You still can't help but notice that the defence should be doing a much better job of trying to close him though.

His goal was great but what you don't see is that he was Mexico's best player! He was creating loads of chances and must have had 3/4 goal scoring chances last night.

They where saying he might be off to Sevilla

Is he still rotting on the bench at Spurs?

He's been banished out on loan for most of his Spurs career, so not even had the chance to keep the bench warm. The guy's clearly talented but it's a case of where would we play him?

If you aint in Harry's circle of freinds you aint playing simples. Crouch will never be sold however carp he is, Crouch while he has had his moments in the CL, consistantly plays rubbish yet still he plays him.
