BBC have a tweet that Adam Johnson may be coming down to Arsenal. Would love that. Someone to show Theo how to play on the wing.

An injury to Silva or Nasri and Johnson would be in the team.

There simply has to be an immediate recall clause in the event that he does move out on loan, otherwise it makes no sense at all.

Add to that fact that he's only 3rd choice for two positions. If you want to rest someone or mix it up a bit, the first person you would turn to is out on loan to a team that is supposed to be a rival :/

Wouldn't have thought so but it does mean he can travel back to London fairly quickly as he's from London isn't he?

No, he moved to Liverpool. There was a rumour that he'd travel by eurostar to Lille every day but that's been rubbished. Cheaper cigarettes is what clinched it for Lille.

Thats no bad thing given the lack of communication us playing offside all the time is somethign we should have ditched when the likes of adams, bould, winterburn and dixon retired.

The current back 4 dont have enough communication skills to warrant playing high up al lthe time imo.

Mertsacker will just sit back and it will allow vermaeelan to go on his runs although i cant wait to see how good mertsacker is or isnt at attacking corners
