Summer Transfer Window 2017/18 - Rumours & Signings

What if lukaku doesn't want Chelsea? A player can still reject a club and Chelsea were happy to ditch him before he may not want to go back.

If I was Chelsea I'd just get morata it's also if you belive papers who conte wants. Conte is supposedly not happy as he feels he isn't backed so if he doesn't get morata and ends up with lukaku may just make there rift bigger

Conte is too nice for Chelsea anyway mind

Lukaku was Conte's 1st choice wasnt he? From the little Ive read it sounded like until the last day or so Chelsea wouldnt match Everton's demants until the Utd initial offer (before add ons) got accepted

Sure it was other way round? I'll review read I know conte has always rated morata mind.

In Liverpool news still nothing of solid reports on keita some say we bid others say not but it's all from foreign press nothing from usual Liverpool leaks (probably a good thing based on dijk farce)

I'm a bit puzzled as to why we are selling Rooney on a free. He has 2 years left on his deal, and surely we can get £10 million or so for him

LOL :D

Even so, why a free? As crap as he's been, he's still got to be worth something

£10 is probably about right
His wages are a stumbling block to a transfer fee. He's 31, in serious decline and will want about £200k a week. Everton are not going to be splashing out transfer fees on top of those huge wages.

It still comes out of that clubs turnover / earnings - not Glazers own private accounts (which would be illegala / FFP etc) , thats what Im talking about

As long as THE CLUB can afford to pay those fees - they are a business, and it should be able to choose whether they spend that £16m or whatever on an agent fee for the next hot player / or failure - or on new stands, or whatever else.
It shouldnt be up to anyone else apart from the board / family / owner.

Jesus Frank. Again, you confuse the life out of me. It's so difficult to have a debate with you on things, you come out with the most random stuff.

You said how much a club pays an agent doesn't matter. You then said it doesn't matter unless it comes out of the owners pockets. Both points are nonsense. Man Utd have been run like a ruthless business for years and the Glazers count every single penny - they're only spending now because they need to re-establish Utd at the top of the table to protect their income. They still won't want to spend any more than they absolutely have to so again, yes it does matter.

And where the **** did I say it wasn't the board or owners decision?

If searching since the forum changes was easier I'd dig up the chat when Rooney signed this contract. I got slaughtered for saying it was madness and there was no way he'd age well.

Just to make things clear before Lukaku makes his choice, if he signs for Man. U. then I definitely didn't want him at Chelsea for that money anyway as he never does it againgst the big teams but if he chooses Chelsea then the fee is small change for one of the best PL strikers going.
That should cover it.

Yep, same here. Expect me to post in the next couple of weeks about how Sanchez loses the ball too much and Lacazette is better anyway.

As much as I know your joking would you be ****** if he went? I'm surprised no club has tried to get him yet, Kane I really rate as a player and I reckon spurs would struggle allot with out him.

we have goals in us from other players but kane does draw the defenders to allow this so we'd certainly miss him
