Summer Transfer Window 2017/18 - Rumours & Signings

I'm getting really excited to see this Lacazette actually, hopefully he carries on his good form from France, might stick him in the Fantasy Football team. Interesting to see where Perez goes, he hasn't travelled with the team to the US, wish he might have stayed and fought it out but seems like he wants 1st team football now.

Samu Saiz set to sign for Leeds within 48hrs.

Yeah i'm currently thinking Lukaku + Lacazette + Jesus (maybe) in my Fantasy team

Will depend on prices though

and I was saying why the ease of transition should be considerably easier than Pogba - that's all....

Ok, I'm not sure I ever disputed that and in actual fact acknowledged that it's a lesser risk than signing a player from abroad. It is not however guaranteed that he'll settle though which is what you initially said - we've seen lots of players fail to settle when moving between clubs from the same league and that's without the huge price tag on his head.

When Swansea reject 40m for Sigurdsson the you know the footballing world has gone mad...
It's almost as if they want to keep him, knowing he's the best player in the team and losing him could mean relegation. Amazing!

With the TV deal no team is short of money really, unless they've spent big previously. Which Swansea haven't. And who knows, it could have been ten million a year for four years. Not worth it really as they wouldn't get a replacement for that.

If it is indeed Everton ask for £30m and Barkley!

Lukaku properly announced now, get ready for the cringe photos:

Arsenal flew out last night to Australia. Sanchez was not in the team flying out either. Lacazette flew out with the team though.

Feel sorry for Perez, everytime I saw him play I thought given a half decent run in the team...he will bang them in.

I'd rather us sell Welbeck back to Utd and try to keep Perez. Giving him game time in cup games etc.

Australia & China sorry, not US. When is Sanchez saying what he's doing? He should just tell everyone. Perez can't play up front though i don't think, he seems more of a winger. Wilshere to stay and fight for a place since Cazorla is out?

Laughs - cant see that happening!!

which Ive already answered - and yet you continue going on about it

I'm not sure whether the likes of Lukaku or Pogba really care that much about the price tag. They have egos the size of sky scrapers, and while media / external forces go on and on about it I'm not sure the players care that much (undoubtedly some do, but I don't think these two do/ will do)

Time will tell

Its also quite possible that by the end of the summer someone else will have paid more anyway so it will become a non -issue

(whether its Mbappe, Morata or even Belotti - at least one will surely move for ~£80m + initial fee)

Did Chile play in for confederations Cup?

I wasn't being entirely serious frank ;)
How much are you going to pay us to take Welbeck back?
10 dolla

Yes they did...he's probably having his extended holiday or maybe he's been told to stay behind until he sorts his **** out

God knows when he's meant to tell everyone what he wants. He said he would tell after the confed cup final but nothing from him.

Cazorla?? I heard he might be out for another season but then I've heard something entirely different ie he's back training etc.

It's actually impossible to debate anything with you Frank. You make a ridiculous statement and when people pick you up on it you respond with the most incomprehensible gibberish ever. The only reason I've had to repeat myself is because your responses have had no relevance to the posts you've been replying to and I'm left wondering if we're having two completely different conversations.

So again, for clarity. You claimed that Lukaku was guaranteed to be a long term success. That's nonsense. Is he less of a risk than a player coming from abroad? Yes but it's by no means a guarantee. Countless players have moved within the same league and not been able to play to the same level as before. That's all before you consider the added pressure that Lukaku will be under moving to a side like Utd compared to Everton and with everybody already questioning the fee.

Welbeck will end up at Sunderland or a similar level club next.

I can't believe you're still trying to explain it. This is what, your 4/5th attempt? Class :D
