Summer Transfer Window 2021/2022

Imagine what Jim White's thinking right now. He retired from Sky barely 2 months ago and we've seen utter madness in the transfer market ever since. Maybe it was for the best, these deals may have finished him off.

I guess the next one now will be the rumoured Mbappe > Madrid, Haaland > PSG deals. If those two occur as well as Grealish to City, Lukaku to Chelsea and Ronaldo to Utd then its been a mindblowing transfer window !

surreal stuff.....

Not starting any arguments/debates but one of the best players of all time for me.

Even at 36, he looks as fit as he's ever been. If we get 2 good seasons out of him (a la Ibra) - I'll be delighted.

Still worried DM wise for United but maybe just need to go with you score 3, we'll score 4 attitude

The first time he steps on the pitch at Old Trafford again will be unreal....

So funny to hear the sour Man City fans on talk sport. If we can ship out Martial and sneak in a CDM will be a title winning transfer period.

On a more serious note what better goal scorers are in the prem right now?

Ronaldo will also be a great link up for Sancho.

There isn’t a debate as to whether he’s one of the best of all time lmao because he just is.

Personally I feel you could have spent that money more wisely but fully get why they’d want to bring him in. He’s a huge name and it’ll be a big lift.

Exciting times. I admit to still feeling a little dubious about it, but it will be great from a spectacle standpoint!

:)

I don't really understand this. Ok so Ronaldo is a freak in terms of his physical being but I don't see how this signing makes any sense when you are building a team to contend in the future. Of course there is a spin off in terms of experience, mentality and shirt sales but where does this player fit into any system. Is it just a case of, he's that good that he makes any team a contender? He's going to want to play every week so where does he play? I can only think that this OGS thinks this is a shortcut to success and the board think its a commercial goldmine?

LOL, I heard that as well, rattling through their 10 goal a season midfielders and you could hear the bitterness, got kicked off for swearing in the end :D
