Summer Transfer Window 22/23

How much have Liverpool spent in the past two windows? Should be well over 100?

Loads of Newcastle fans are having a complete meltdown on twitter saying we need more players after picking up quite a few injuries despite spending over 200 in two windows

If we use transfrmarkt as a source as i cannot be bothered to work it all out then NET we have spent 4.59 mil this window and 21/22 was 51 mil.

I'm not suspicious of that fee at all as it was a release clause...the rest of what they have paid tho I am.
That’s what I mean, you can’t tell me they’ve only paid £54m overall. We don’t know if theres addons and what exorbitant amount they paid his agent.

Problem is with Newcastle, you do look light with a few injuries. Now I'm not saying you should do a Forest, but spending big on a few players hasnt addressed that lack of depth yet.

Squad depth is one of footballs biggest problems nowadays. With so many games and such high transfer prices, it’s become very difficult for teams to build strong depth. It’s the number one reason that City dominate the league. £50m player out, £50m player in. Hardly any other teams can do that with the regularity they can.

This season is going to push teams to their limit because of this Winter World Cup.

Think we still trying to get two in on loan

Should get interesting up to Thursday.

At least you dont have Europe to deal with. We have 5 games in 14 days with a Merseyside derby being one lol.

I think our business is done as well unfortunately.

Yeah, apparently Dubravka to United is almost sewn up. We really are going to need a few faces, wouldn't be surprised to see 2 loan deals come through, hopefully some good ones with experience, wouldn't be too disappointed with 1 loan, especially considering Krafth is out, tripper is known to pick up injuries and Manquillo hasn't really featured yet. Our FB position could be in trouble. Not that happy with Darlow as a back up tbh, he has a long way to develop still!

I really like the look of young Anderson who's came up from the reserves, he may be able to add some depth!

Looks like Dub deal should be money in the bag was a little worried that it was just a loan with an option to buy.

At least one of your games isn’t north of the arctic circle in winter.

We’ll be lucky if we’ve defrosted the players by Sunday!

This is where the test comes for your lads now. You do have a rest week though on the 11th Sept at least.

For real though i cant imagine you will take the big hitters there unless you really mess up your first three in that group.

I said to my mate the other day when I saw Anderson playing, he looks like they've kept him in the same sort of grow bag as Rooney and Barklay, he's a proper unit for a young lad.

Yeah looks like he's got something as well, they nicknamed him the Geordie maradona last year at Bristol.

Ross Barkley has just became available as a free agent today, wonder if we are looking at him to stengthen midfield. If Bruno gets any injury we will be lightweight. Barkley may benefit from a nerw start.

Bruno already has an injury. Squad is woefully lightweight. A Newcastle 2nd 11 would get relegated from the Championship.

Wonder if Pedro is still on the go.

Looks like Chelsea aren't letting any of the players leave in loans. Seems there is a bit of drama from Tuchel.

Pedro deal seems to be off now. I still think we'll get one in on loan from Chelsea, Dubravka will free up some wages. Would rather he didn't leave but can't blame him, hope he does well.
