I’m just ignoring everything on this one now it’s become too much of a saga! PSV will definitely be selling someone today as financially they need to so we will find out one way or another later today. I can’t be doing with all the private jet tracking and airport stalking nonsense!

Saints have had a great transfer window so far some real quality additions and no significant departures. Looks like we are going to do some good business today even if we miss out on the headline signing.
 
Griezman unhappy at Atletico as the board have told Simeone that under no circumstances should he play enough minutes to activate his transfer. I believe that means he won't play more than 65 minutes in any game. Wonder if Chelsea have expressed an interest? Would love him in the PL.
 
I miss the old deadline days where blow up dolls and toys of a certain nature were waved around behind reporters.. that was a time to be alive…
 
A couple of Italian journalists are reporting that Arthur is on his way to Liverpool for a medical regarding a loan move. He's one of many players that I must have seen play a dozen times but couldn't tell you a thing about.

edit: and Liverpool based journo's are reporting that we're in for him too. Looks like it's a goer.

I'd much prefer a player buy than a player loan. Its not like we are strapped for cash. Though as I say, probably too late to engineer a buy now, if only we'd made more effort to sign a midfielder throughout the window.
