Summer Transfer Window 22/23

Do you want to be buying a player that doesn't really want to go to you by all accounts, would appear he is being forced out due to barca's cash flow issues.

That depends if he will be looking for the exit straight away. I'm sure that RM and Barca sell players all the time who don't want to leave and they are ultimately fine with it. You don't always get to play for your dream club. I don't want a player who will be miserable and down tools but i'm not really placed to make that judgement on him.

That’s my concern, don’t want to start off with an expensive signing who isn’t really keen on coming.

Looks like Hugo Ekitike will be done in the next few days. If the rumours are true and we’re looking for young talent from Europe instead of top6 cast offs and has beens I will be over the moon
Looks like he wants to come also he's just making sure his family wants to move and reports in France are they very happy indeed to move.

Was getting worried when Dortmund and Manu were strongly getting linked.

Same as Bruno he's stats are some of the best and he's only 19.

Looks like it's 50/50 on Botman since Milan got their takeover.
.
Also

And yes. I've drank the koolAid and watching all the Coming to Arsenal videos :p

Might be a step to far for us ATM but sure is nice to be competing for players like him.

I would be amazed if RM want Jesus. They have Benzema who is in the form of his life and could get far better strikers than Jesus if they wanted. Doesn't necessarily make sense to go to Spurs either as they have Kane. I assumed he wanted to leave City to be the main striker somewhere. Arsenal fits that and is about his level.

Who can they get?

Haalands gone, Mbappe is staying, Lewa is 35 years old, and Benzema is already 34 himself.

Some rumours going about that Maxi has a champion league team release clause in his contact ^^

Wonder what Sarr price would be.
Wouldn’t surprise me, most young players from the continent have those sort of clauses inserted into their contracts, especially when there at clubs with no chance of champions league qualification, stops the selling club being unreasonable when a player wants to further their career. No doubt Ekitike will have one if he signs and I would think because he looks like quite a prospect he would also have clauses allowing him to leave if the likes of City/Liverpool/Madrid/Barcelona come calling

Looks like we miss out Botman and about to move onto Nidicka. Their takeover probably put them in pole position.

Nidicka should be a good bit cheaper also.

who's going to take the gamble on Gareth Bale?
He's still a very decent player - but any side paying him a wage, with his fitness history, would be nuts.

Pay as you play with large performance bonuses should see him play at a decent Premier League side. The worry would be that he'd lose interest in playing after the WC.

We're getting linked with a right back called Ramsay, don't get it, okay yes he is young and not likely to be for the first team but if klopps plan is to say rest trent more so doesn't end up burnt out etc then I'd say just give neco the game time

Perfect for Manchester United then. Stick him on 500k a week. A good bit of commercial business.

That isn't the plan and Williams doesn't want to stay and play a few League Cup games, hence why he went out on loan in January. Williams is a decent player and will make a good career for himself but he's not good enough to play regularly for us so why keep him when you could potentially sell him for £10m odd? If he does leave then you would need to bring somebody else in but again, you're not getting anybody that will play ahead of Trent so a youngster that could potentially develop into a decent player is probably your best bet. In the event Trent picked up a long term injury you've got Milner and Gomez as options at RB too, both of whom I suspect would play ahead of Williams too.

Selling a 21 year old RB that you know will never play regularly for £10m odd and replacing him with an 18 year old that might become good enough for £4m seems a pretty good deal if you ask me, particularly when it's not going to change the strength of your squad in the short term.

Wonder if Bale could play as a CM or something? Just randomly throwing an idea out there and unsure what his play is like there...def lost a lot of pace. I noticed that even when he was celebrating his free kick for Wales. :p

This Tchouameni chap that I'd never heard of until last month looks like he's off to Real for "over €100m". PSG tying Mbappe down has worked out well for Monaco.
