Supplements the debate/discussion thread

So far I'm loving Purple Wraath and White Flood combination. I have such insane amounts of energy that I power through all my workouts and feel great. Focus is zen like and fatigue is massively reduced. Purple Wraath is OK with 1 scoop but so so much better with 2 scoops.

Just got my order from Iron Science and received a free 1kg Acid Whey Orange.. Well it smelt nice, just didnt takes too good when gulping it down (was more throff than liquid!)

You get that with all the new ultra low fat and carb fruity whey you just need to let it sit for a while :)

I think I over did it with the scoops too, it said one on the instructions, but I was special and did 2 at the time, as I wanted to taste.. Did take awhile to settle once I gulped it down.

arg wrong reply in wrong thread - edited

Decided to grab a couple of supplements to help me starting at the gym, read reviews and quite happy with the content of both but i just wonder if anyone else has tried these products.

i settled on getting myproteins hurricane xs as a post workout or Meal replacement supplement and their bedtiem extreme since i enjoy food before bed but recommended stuff to hit macros such as cottage cheese makes me sick, so i settled on a compromise - another shake lol

While they're not bad, in the future it would be cheaper to get standard bulk protein powder and add other stuff as required. Post workout you could add a carb source such as ground oats (very cheap). Eating something right before bed isn't really necessary either, but if you wanted to have something just a standard protein shake would do. Even better, actual food (high in protein and fat, low carbs). In fact, EVEN better would be to skip that pre-bed snack and just eat more during the day.
