Supplements the debate/discussion thread

We've had this conversation before, it's not £5 more expensive, it's about 50% more expensive than whacking Whey and dextrose in a shaker.

As for the taste -buy your own whey flavour and it will be just as sweet as the CNP jobbie because of the dextrose.

Lol ok, if you say so....50% more expensive...what a ridiculous figure

You obviously get whey a lot cheaper than the rest of us, but for everyone else, it's about £5 more. Based on macros per scoop and the total weight, to match that, you'd be spending close to £50

Only it's not ridiculous is it? You just seem be poor at math.

That product you claim to be the 'King of PWO' is approx 66% glucose, which costs about £2.50 per kg. How much are you paying per kg for this super product? Cheapest I can see it about £49 for a 5kg tub and a lot more expensive for the smaller 1.28kg tub!

I can buy 5kg of Whey Protein for £37.99
I can also buy 5kg of dextrose for £11.89
That's 10kg for under £50

The 5kg tub of CNP Pro Recover is £50

That's actually a 100% saving ;)

Is approx 66% glucose? Is Easter a time for pulling random figures out your head as well?
No but it should be the time for you to pull your head from your ass :p

If you want me to spell it out for you and make you look even more stupid then I will.... but you have to ask me to make you look stupid ok? :D

Where are you getting 5kg of whey protien for 38?

Ok then:

2.5kg choc whey - £29
5kg dextrose - £12

Same ratio as CNP pro recover.
Mix yourself = 7.5kg - £41 (before discounts)
CNP pro rec = 5kg - £50

Although I prefer my ready brek choc ^^

My pwo: 1 scoop whey, 2 scoops brekkie

5kg ready brek choc = £15
2.27kg True whey choc = £32

£47 :D but it's extra tasty and doubles as breakfast when needed :)

Except you're comparing flavoured to unflavoured so it's irrelevant.
Irrelevant? So you think that warrants paying twice as much just for a bit of flavouring?

MP currently have flavdrops on offer at £2.39 which will flavour about 100 drinks. Or you can use nequick, flavoured milkshake, or just man up and drink it unflavoured?

Congratulations on being able to read both my posts
What has your 2nd post got to do with me? Unflavoured whey is what it is, I've been drinking the stuff for donkeys years, yes some might taste a little different but not much.

You must have got some that was off/not fresh? Protein powder is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and if it had been left exposed at any point then it wouldn't be good.

Where did your undrinkable WPC come from?

You were telling me to use flavouring which is exactly what i had said. It has nothing to do with you but neither does any of this discussion because you'll do what you want as will i.

It was from MP

Well I got some WPC from MP 2 weeks ago and it tastes no different than any other whey I've ever had. Far from undrinkable, infact I like it. Sounds like you got a dodgy batch?
